Alan Silvestri is back for it and Avengers 4.
I've never gotten the point of Punisher being the main character centering a series. He's an anti-hero, a sympathetic guy who ultimately went off the deep end and is there to serve as a contrast and warning for the heroes about what happens if they cross a line. Not sure this Punisher show is for me. Bernthal is great but I can't shake the feeling that I'm made to feel bad for a psychopath with guns and find him cool.

So I heard some rumors and thoughts about
the Captain Marvel in the 90s with the War Kree / Skrulls as a background and how it would lead to an MCU adaptation of Secret Invasion. What do you think of this, plausible ? Skrulls aren't tied with F4 rights ?
I think Secret Invasion is a great concept they could easily adapt it without some of their characters in the comics. They would probably start the foreshadowing in Avengers 4 and the next phase 4 movies, using GOTG 3 as well. Not sure about Jackson's Nick Fury though but it could also concern the Shield TV series.
Would they push it as far as having the invasion explaining every event since the beginning of the MCU ?
What do you guys think ?
With all of this handing-over-the-mantle talk, I'm secretly hoping Marvel has made a clause in the actors' contract that says they can use them one more time 10-30 years from now. Bring back old man Stark with grey hair, a beard and director of a future Shield. Old Man Avengers.
So is Hela dead? If not, is she taking the place of Lady Death? Thanos is attaining the gauntlet just to impress her/it. Kinda curious about it. This shit is really a sad love story honestly.
I have not been on discord much. I am not feeling too well at the moment. I'll get back surely.
We don't know.So is Hela dead? If not, is she taking the place of Lady Death? Thanos is attaining the gauntlet just to impress her/it. Kinda curious about it. This shit is really a sad love story honestly.

Unless she has an undisclosed teleportation/extremely powerful regeneration ability in the MCU, she dead.

Nebula played by Karen Gillian
Oh damn. I couldn't tell at all with all that makeup she has in the movies. I've actually never seen this actress in anything else.
I think she got her big break in Dr. Who.Oh damn. I couldn't tell at all with all that makeup she has in the movies. I've actually never seen this actress in anything else.
It won't be super clear until we can frame by frame a blu-ray but on my second viewing I was looking for it and it's entirely possible she's teleporting away as it looked like she may disappear into a green cloud just before the sword hits not after.
I just learned Walton Goggins is in Antman & The Wasp.
I hope to god his role is nice and meaty. The man is awesome. What they did with Kate Blanchett has me doubting it though.
Also, I really wish they hadn't killed off 90% of all the villains featured in the movies. There are certainly more, but some of them deserve to come back. To have Red Skull be dead since phase one is weird. Ultron also had so much potential. And of course Hela.
I also miss their shorts. They were so good. Especially the Mandarin one.
I miss the Shield aspect of the universe. It's weird how it's completely vanished, more or less.
I feel like I'm wrong on this one though and they made the right decision, but I'm just nostalgic about it. I just miss looking at Cobie Smulders.
I think I might like GoTG2 more than the first. I can't fucking decide.
Say no to drugs, kids!Oh shit! I completely forgot Bucky was in Wakanda. That movie was forgetful as hell.
Civil War? Forgetful?Oh shit! I completely forgot Bucky was in Wakanda. That movie was forgetful as hell.
U crazy sonOh shit! I completely forgot Bucky was in Wakanda. That movie was forgetful as hell.
In fairness, Cap and Bucky in Wakanda was the post-credits scene. Or mid-credits? I'm struggling to remember if Civil War had one or two.
At the same time, it ended on an awesome giant panther statue.
It was the mid-credits scene, the other one was Peter Parker showing off his new Gadget (Spidey-Signal) he got from Stark. The last ones (post-credit scene) are mostly funny/easter egg scenes while the mid-credits are plot relevant to the movie or upcoming movies.
I think it was just a way of telling us that the suit had more shit to it then we first thought.I thought it was funny that the Spider Signal was the main focus of Civil War's post credits scene but he ends up essentially never using it in Homecoming.
It won't, iirc.
Do you mean basic like without all the tech or basic as in not the one that he as in Infinity War? 'Cus I hope Homecoming 2 has him back with a red and blue suit, like his iconic look, but I hope he keeps all the tech. No tech means no Karen and I can't do without Karen.Hope we get a basic non-Stark suit in Homecoming 2.
And Michelle haning from a mannequin on a rope.
That's why it's so dumb and why their Spiderverse without a Spider is gonna crash and burn real quick. They're riding off Homecoming's goodwill without actually being able to use that goodwill. So what's the point. How are you supposed to do spin-off's without Spider-man.
Hope we get a basic non-Stark suit in Homecoming 2.
