Good hold for switch units, and ps4 doing good by breaking 100K. I'm guessing people getting ready for mh:w.

Xenoblade 2, hope to see continued legs.

Glad to see Xenoblade's legs, hopefully good word of mouth helps it stay strong despite being such a niche title

Very happy to see Xenoblade still in there, the series needs to become Nintendo's JRPG mainstay.

Wish it didn't have to look like XB2 needs to crawl to 200k. I think a stronger performance like 250-300k would have really helped to convince more ambitious JRPG projects on the Switch for the next 2 years. Then again there's FE and SMTV coming, hopefully those don't disappoint in Japan. The comments that SMTV wants to really prove that it's a console-tier title makes it pretty promising.

Splatoon 2 at 2 million combined. Is this the first ever 2-million-seller this gen on home console front?

This would be the dream, but I guess just having a console RPG franchise actually growing in Japan is already a good thing.

I don't see FE disappointing unless IS loses their minds and does something stupid.

So did Pokken outsell the Wii U version?

Seems like a great LTD for a port. Gotta be over a million worldwide I think

Famitsu (2018 week 1)
[WIIU] Pokken Tournament (Pokemon Co.) {2016.03.18} - 72.502 / 164.852 (173.494 with digital +8.642)
[NSW] Pokken Tournament DX (Pokemon Co.) {2017.09.22} - 51.960 / 191.761 (207.794 with digital +16.033)

Media-create (2017 week 52)
[WIIU] Pokken Tournament (Pokemon Co.) {2016.03.18} - 69.675 / 179.000
[NSW] Pokken Tournament DX (Pokemon Co.) {2017.09.22} - 53.395 / 191.485

I don't mean the game quality, I mean the sales! I certainly hope if IS decides to move away a little from the Awakening format and into a more console RPG sort of format, that it continues to grow instead of decline. There's also a question, with the Switch being viewed as more of a "console" than "portable" by some developers/publishers, where would that leave games that have a double dipping culture? Would Pokemon on Switch or FE on Switch still have multiple "versions" released with different content?

Like I said in the other thread, really great week for Nintendo dominating the top 10.

Mario Party The Top 100 is selling really well for it's second week.
And almost of the Nintendo titles holding really well too.

Interesting... Sony systems usually have a stronger sales than Nintendo systems on week 1, could it be because the Switch has a bigger adult audience at the moment?

LONG time lurker, but this is my first time posting here. Nice to finally be able to discuss sales haha

Switch software doing great, but I'm a bit disappointed by the hardware. Was expecting 200k, but I guess suply restraints prevented that. Nice PS4 numbers, though. I'm curious to see how it will perform until a couple of weeks after MHW.

Sony systems usual have bigger jumps this week but Nintendo HW I believe still tends to sell more due to simply being much larger in general.

Sony systems don't usually win Week 1. They just get a bump. It's not usually enough to come out on top.

Y'all remember how depressing these threads were circa Wii U times and in general nothing was selling. Literally made me sad inside to see Japan go mobile and consoles failing.

Great Switch sales of both hardware and software!! The PS4's hardware got a good boost too.. though not a lot of software sales. What's up with that?

Switch sold really well. 3DS also sold really nice. And damn, Ps4 had a big jump from past week to this one.
