maybe we need a new round of ARMS LTD predictions. We kind of did one one on GAF.
Mine was one of the highest, with 300-400k, and anything less than 300k being an overall failure in my opinion.

But now even I might have to rethink since 400k seems a lock...
Idk man,the legs of Arms and other first party titles are hard to guess imo,I'm still unsure those insane legs of 1st party titles(even fucking snipperclips has good legs right there) are mostly influenced by the switch or the games themselves are really attractive

I think it's Legend of Zelda > Ocarina of Time > TP > BOTW. Not sure if BOTW already surpassed TP, but Zelda 1 and OoT are above 1M. I think BOTW can at least outsell OoT in the long run.

Ah, I see! Thank you!

Great results after a bit of a sales-decline of the series. This pun is dead, but 'Breath of the Wild' has really breathed fresh air into the series on many levels and I am loving every bit of it!

I wonder if below the top 50 there are KT titles selling because everything else on the Switch is sold out...

It's LoZ > AoL(Zelda II) > LttP > Ocarina of Time > BOTW

Possibly Phantom Hourglass ahead of BOTW, not quite sure.

What KT games on Switch have done decently? They seem very satisfied with the results (whatever they are). Interestingly Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate was the best performing of the trio from November (the others were Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada and Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires).

Really aside from FEW, I can't recall a KT game doing five figures on Switch and the only ones to do so were non-KT IP's; Dragon Quest Heroes I & II and One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 - Deluxe Edition.

Well i'm finally released from my shuckles..... Yeah i missed this thread today....

Anyway damn nice week and wow a ps4 above 100k week that's quite cool.

Seeing Splatoon number one ofcourse lights my heart :P but it's nice to see Zelda had a increase aswell it truly deserve to reach 1m even if it takes a while, better late than never.

Also arms hitting the 300k milestone.

It's a good week overall well.... I think so atleast i can be wrong.

Ah, thanks. Forgot Zelda II and AlttP. So is BOTW over TP?

BotW on Switch alone is > Twilight Princess Wii + GC combined.

WII The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 554.109
WIU The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD 93.489
NGC The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 70.000

Phantom Hourglass though is quite a bit higher still compared to BotW Switch
NDS The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass 902.386

All the consoles sold more apart from Xbox.

Happy for the Vita still selling in the thousands.

Xenoblade 2 showing some legs makes me happy. It's also a reminder of how criminal it is that I've yet to buy it.

As for the whole FE deblace... I wish Waifu Emblem would just die and we'd get more of the good old Emblems, but Echoes' numbers don't seem to point to that as a possibility, so I'll revise my hopes to "maybe IS can better balance these elements for the upcoming Switch game". At this point I'll be happy just to see Kozaki go. Give me more Hidari pls.

Second week in a row where 9 Nintendo plaform games surround a single Playstation game.

Everything is doing well overall. Xenoblade has great legs, which is honestly unexpected. I really hope that the supply constrain doesn't cut it short; game needs every copy it can sell.

Considering that Japan is such a big mobile market you would think they would have higher digital rates. Has it just not caught on for regular games?

Are we talking about sales potential or quality? Fire Emblem Awakening is obviously what Intelligent Systems should build on if they want the series to continue to sell well, but if we're talking strictly about quality, saying that Shadows of Valentia is the best is a totally defensible position (although Awakening is still my favourite). It's a really great game.
Sales, mostly, but I believe that correlates directly with quality. Awakening and Fates managed to be breakout hits for the series because of their fantastic presentation and production values, accessibility, and wide variety of gameplay options. They're high quality games, even if they're not what people who prefer the Tellius games wanted out of the IP.

By the snark, I was mostly referring to the vocal minority among the Fire Emblem fanbase that feels the need to shout down the modern games for being "otaku bait," or worse yet, attribute their large sales spike to waifus. It's reductionist as hell. Echoes is a fine game, but I feel that it's easily the weakest of the 3DS games. But yeah, I agree that it's a defensible opinion that it's the best of the bunch.

It's already the best selling one (I believe), but I am greedy and want it to get all the sales it can too.

It's much cheaper to buy things physically. Buy 8 or so games in a year and you've saved enough to pay for another (if you preorder). Moreover, digital games seem to stay expensive, even years later.

Nintendo beasting with the Switch, but I'll have to say: 3DS sales are very impressed for a 7 years old handheld.

PS4 rocking the Monster Hunter power. Game is gonna be HUGE in Japan.
I'm betting 2-3 Million FW

People love to harp on FE Echoes' numbers as being terrible but I'm pretty sure it's one of the best selling titles of the 3DS in 2017, probably above the Mario spin-offs, Kirby spin-off, Samus' long-awaited return and others. There are many reasons why it sold worse than Awakening/Fates and I'm sure will take the context into account when analyzing what worked and what didn't with the game.

I just noticed - who the fuck is still buying Wii Us?

I'm considering buying one. My Gamepad is on it's last legs (it won't charge a lot of the time and the sticks are not what they used to be). If I am going to pay the asking cost for a controller replacement, I might as well just get another system.

That overpriced, region locked, barely utilized, controller....

But I am sure they are also people buying the system to play Tokyo Mirage Sessions (or at least they should be).

They should port TMS#FE to Switch and give it a "sequel" i.e. some Nintendo branded SMT spinoff should be bankrolled, if we are being honest.

...

Nice software numbers. I've never seen a week 1, though. Are these quite good numbers for that?

This is such a great week. Only one item didn't increase WoW, and it only dropped by 6%. Good way to start the year :)
Edit: nvm xb1 decreases week on week as well lol
ive been so used to a thread updating every 0.1 seconds the past two days that this thread feels dead now lmao

Well as to the spoiler, at least you know Vena will read it at least :) per the last thread.

Slower threads have their benefit.
