SRW drop is harsh. I just want to see where the Switch version is in the top 30.

Winning Post 9 split too. Sucks to not have more than top 10 until top 30 releases, but glad at least we get the release at the same time as usual from Famitsu.

Yoshi released and sales for switch dropped. :lol

Vita sales also dropped, but not as much as expected if they were truly running out of stock.

While PS4 passed 8M last week in MC, it'll pass it next week.
Switch is a lot closer in Famitsu and should pass 8M and PS4 by the end of April?

Yoshi has competition in the platform genre so it should have released in Fall in my opinion.

Based on the retailer rankings I wondered if it would have done a bit better than this but yeah, fairly hefty drop (in relative terms) for the next mainline entry.

Wonder how Derby stallion will do on switch. That series has always been bigger.

It's gonna take some getting used to for some of these Famitsu numbers. 13k for Minecraft seems huge, and the LTD for it is about 50k higher than on MC.

I think Famitsu always lowballed BotW too, unless they slowly fixed it.

Just like how most people refer all tissues as Kleenex, we shall use Media Create for consistency and historical reasons.

Funnily enough, Derby Stallion is the only franchise that was "revealed" to be coming to Switch back in January 2017 that has yet to see a release on the system, now that Story of Seasons is coming with the Doraemon crossover.

I feel like the Fire Emblem delay is to blame for the bad pacing in H1 2019 being 3 platformers back to back. NSMBU DX strikes me as a game that was intended for a September release last year but was moved to keep momentum in the software lineup.

I mean, Nintendo was probably right as Switch is selling exceptionally well with evergreens and NSMB. But Yoshi could have been moved to Fall to give it more space. Of course it doesn't seem there was any game to replace it.

I could have sworn that Derby Stallion had a re-release, but looking back the Switch got a Winning Post 8 port and Champion Jockey game released in the same week back in 2017. How many horse franchises does Koei-Tecmo have?

Damn Switch is catching up fast on that PS4 numbers. Geez! PS4 will hit 8 million soon, switch will catch up to it and pass it.

The march title for Switch should have been FE and not Yoshi. Yoshi fits better for GW. But well, FE wasn't ready, so there was not much that could've been done.

They've always been erratic with release dates anyway seemingly, years between entries quite often. I'm sure it'll come whenever it's done, hopefully debuting to a few more sales than winning post :p

Series has been on a downwards curve for years and I haven't seen anything in T worthy of changing that trend, so usual drop sounds about right.
