Good Labo launch, though the ratio is heavily in favour of Variety Kit (Robo Kit is still a mystery for me). Okay launch for GoW but it's going to disappear off the charts as soon as it came. Metal Max Xeno seems to have been severely overshipped in its second week. Good 2nd week for Snack World. Switch hardware hasn't been moved by Labo yet but we'll see what Golden Week has to say about that. The rest is irrelevant, and especially PS4 numbers again.

To me, Labo is a curiosity piece. The variety kit is perfect to jump in because of its... variety.. I bet a vast majority of people shared this line of thinking.

MHW likely to be out of the top 20 next week.

The Pro over the PS4 is interesting. Guess stock is still an issue? I wonder if the baseline will be closer to 20k once Sony gets their stock sorted. Can't believe Sony is dropping the ball here. They should easily be able to supply PS4s at this stage in its life.

Labo right now is something for people who own a Switch...not neccesarly something casuals are gonna spend 40k yen to be able to play it, if Mario Kart, Zelda and Splatoon werent already reason enough to get the system.

Well Slim model sold only 4.5k this week (and dropped another 5k from last week) which would indicate that there is still shortages. It's normally way more popular model and no way is selling 5k just because lack of demand.

Overall this week in 2012 launched the second biggest title for the 3DS during the first 6 months of that year. Fire Emblem ended up selling over 450K during 2012. Labo Variety and Robot I believe had a decent launch and should end up selling well above FE:A by the end of 2018. On the other hand Hardware sales for the Switch this week was disappointing - was expecting a larger amount of hardware sold due to Labo launch.
In other news Snack World is on it's way to 100K as I said last week I expected it to overtake DQB/AOT2 by the end of April and it nearly did in it's second week.

Labo did a lot better than I expected! I'm surprised to see Switch sales down. Thought there might be a slight bump from Labo.

I suspect that any Labo impact on hardware would be a slower burn, dependent on getting non-Switch-owners' eyes on the product. Now it's out in the wild, that's got more potential to happen (with either seeing it in others' houses or through viral content). If it does happen, I suspect it'll be slowly over the next few weeks.

Glad Labo had a good first week, considering this seems more like a slow burn product that will hit hard around Christmas. Didn't seem to affect hardware much though.

Word of mouth has to spread to get people to buy a Switch and Labo. It's not surprising that the sales mainly went to people who already own a Switch.

Decent introduction of Labo, 120k across both SKU, but a drop in hardware the week before Golden Week is no bueno.

The Snack World did pretty good in its second week. If it holds well during Golden Week it might reach 100k easily.

PS4 still selling poorly—stock issues or not, its 2018 performance is disappointing also in terms of software with MHW the only overperforming title.
