I'm a bit surprised about the Labo VR sales - I would have guessed 100k would have been in the cards with the low entry price and the glowing praise.

If Dragon Ball Heros can keep up the pace it should cross 100k next week. Switch might also cross 8 million next week too which is also exciting!

While 40k for Switch is the lowest it has hit in months.. looking at PS4 and 11k... going to be a rough year for the system.

Seems like the last game on PS4 that could have any real impact on the JPN market before the PS5 succeeds it now...

Switch still up 25 YoY for the week.

Ths hardware results for the quarter are going to be prety good. I think Nintendo will be very very close to 20 millions

If they both match this weeks sales then PS4 will still be slightly ahead (8m 44k vs 8m 40k). If the Switch gets even a slight bump and the PS4 dips just a bit then Switch will overtake.

When the switch was pretty steady at 50k it seemed more likely, but this dip to 40k makes it less certain. Definitely overtakes by the first week of May. 50/50 to do it next week (unless a new release gives a HW bump; I admit I'm not up on all the releases).

I think 18m is the floor. I think they for sure hit that and likely went over. How far over remains to be seen. I think 19m is in the realm of possibility. 20m was a lofty goal, but I don't think it is fair to say it was "never even remotely realistic."

Early holiday numbers seemed very promising and a lot of people held to the idea they would reach it. Only after final Q3 numbers came out did it become more apparent that they would likely fall just short.

I wonder will we ever find out how long ps4 stays ahead on mediacreate.

Desperately needs a price cut. Weird seeing it match last year though when it was supply constrained. I forgot about those weeks.
