Hey, at least Octopath has banners. If it's just the boxart missing, it's not really a big issue...

Unfortunately it sounds like there was no increase for Labo (since it wasn't singled out), at least at Geo, so your wish (which is also mine) will probably not be granted,DK seems aiming for a good start, now all I want is some solid Labo sales so we can avoid another week of LABOMBA

WOW, the difference for Naruto on Switch vs PS4:
12./00. [NSW] Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy for Nintendo Switch (Bandai Namco Games) {2018.04.26} - 8,231 / NEW
14./00. [PS4] Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy (Bandai Namco Games) {2017.07.27} - 4,711 / NEW

No retail release in europe was quite the stupid decision considering how well Switch perform in France, Spain and co. and post XV2.

While I would love nothing more than to see DK do great, I feel like we've been down that road before. Seeing sign of a debut greater than it really is on the last days. I remember it happening with Xenoblade 2 and, to a lesser extent, Snack World. Better be patient before celebrating a 80k opening.

In 2019.
They both released pretty much exactly where we expected them to taking into account the positive reports.
Those are people with hyper optimistic predictions that's not the same expectations for sales. Even then the most of the optimistic expectations where 10-20k off which is roughly 10-20% off which isn't an insane margin of error considering what your dealing with.Days before numbers are out for a game enthusiasm tends to blow out reasonnable expectations when there are good signs.
This is exactly what happened with Xenoblade 2 and various other games (can't say I remember Snack World as the game wasn't significant enough sales wise at launch for me to keep a close eye one)
No retail release in europe was quite the stupid decision considering how well Switch perform in France, Spain and co. and post XV2.
They both released roughly where YSO said they would, while late positive signs made the thread go too optimistic. Unless you forgot how everyone reacted when XB2 opened at 90k when there was talk of 120+ the whole week. They both released pretty much exactly where we expected them to taking into account the positive reports.
It opened above 90k (97,722) and 120k was an optimistic expectation. Above 100k was the typical and since it didn't debut above 100k you had the typical nonsenical reponse but it was still the biggest debut for the game in series as expected and extremely close to 100k. In this case YSO predicts and extraordinary low drop for next week implying a higher than they expected debut similar to ARMS.They both released roughly where YSO said they would, while positive signs made the thread go too optimistic. Unless you forgot how everyone reacted when XB2 opened at 90k when there was talk of 120+ the whole week.
I think 50k would be great given what we know.

Never doubt the Kong, with a strong opening it should end up at 110-135K for May.
- DKTF I feel I need to see how it performs after May, but it has a decent chance at hitting 200K before the end of July - I honestly expect it to perform better than Mario+Rabbids.

I have no idea tbh. I was thinking to import it, but haven't done it in the end for other reasons. But if those Amazon reviews call Konami out for bugs, they better be patching it quickly. Looks like most reviews are about the bugs and not really about intended features, so a quick patch should do the deal. It will definitely hurt the game's legs tho, which are very dependent on WoM marketing. How's this year's Powerful Pro Baseball?
Would be nice to hear from resetera members. Amazon reviews are not that good -- saying it's buggy and calling Konami lazy.
You aren't wrong
So I just checked the best sellers for the U.S eshop and the trilogy is number 2, I have to imagine it was number 1 before donkey kong come out, this port got like no hype, im pretty sure it wasent even in the coming soon section, are there even commercials for this?In the UK at the moment the trilogy is #11 in the eShop charts and Ninja Storm 3 is #15, I was quite surprised to see that.
Might have been a bad decision in NA as well. I was shocked to see it doing so well in the eShop. No retail release in europe was quite the stupid decision considering how well Switch perform in France, Spain and co. and post XV2.
If Sony kept the restock going for GW, I expect it to stay above 25k, but Switch will probably go above 50k.I realize we haven't talked much about hardware numbers for GW. Any predictions?
There are two Switch games relasing in (or on? I suck at prepositions) the next two months: Mario Tenis on June 22 and Octopatch on July 13.
On July 31 theres the Splatoon DLC and august may see the release of Smash Bros.
Things might start to look better for the system in the near future.
Just wanting to say thank you for supporting the best game in its genre that nobody bought.
VC1 and VC4 are fall titles. But yeah, there's quite some titles by the end of July.I think the Splatoon DLC (it was leaked by Nintendo Germany iirc) will be on July 13th alongside Octopath and Captain Toad. Basically, Summer is packed for the Switch :
June 8th : Sushi Strikers
June 22th : Mario Tennis Aces
June 29th : Ys VIII
July 10th : Crash Bandicoot
July 12th : Shining Resonance Refrain
July 13th : Octopath Traveler
July 13th : Captain Toad
July 13th : Splatoon DLC ?
July 19th : Sonic Mania Plus
July 26th : Wolfenstein II
July 26th : Mega Man X Collection 1&2
July 26th : Disgaea Remake
Other Summer titles :
- Dark Souls Remastered
- Inazuma Eleven
- Taiko
- Ark
- Minecraft retail release ?
- Valkyria Chronicles 1&4
- Okami
VC1 and VC4 are fall titles. But yeah, there's quite some titles by the end of July.
