Xbox Series S/X with a massive gain,nearly outsold the 3DS.

Pokemon with a solid debut and great NSW hardware sales.

Returnal did okay all things considered i guess.

Nowhere are there good signs for Returnal it seems. And that sucks. It's a brilliant game with a shitty price and one terrible game mechanic, but it deserves better than this.

Switch is going to end up selling like a million more units this year versus last and that's not taking BotW 2 or the possible Pro into account.

Great start for Pokémon Snap, we know digital sales were >50k too.

Switch hardware is looking phenomenal and Rise's doing great too.

2021 HW sales shaping up well so far. The consistent stream of games should help that even if none are as high profile as Animal Crossing was last year.

Great numbers for NPS. The game is awesome, first time in many years that a Pokémon game exceeds my expectations instead of the opposite.

Nice PS5 HW sales, and amazing for Switch. Also great MH legs. Over 100k (retail only) in its 6th week is more than good, even for GW. Oh and in relation to that... Second year in a row that we have Golden Strong.

I still think it's too soon to get overly excited. If the pandemic is more or less under control this summer, people will go out. People will want to travel and spend their money on other stuff. Not sure if the Olympics can also take away a piece of their mind share (maybe this is silly, I don't know). All in all, I don't think it would be that surprising if the Switch is down YoY this summer due to all those factors plus strong competition from 2020. It should be up again YoY during the holiday season IF the Pro manages to debut this year.

With this level of physical sales MHR was really under-shipped, and this probably hurt its performance in retail a bit.
