It's neat that Prototype is on Switch as well. From what I researched, the only Nintendo system game they ever made was one on DS and that was it. They did make a couple or so 360 games though, but clearly they were heavily Sony-focused.

Who's left now more or less to jump onto Switch?

Capcom and Konami lol
The first will only bring ports, the second it's so irrelevant that it doesn't make a change.

Btw, Fifa is getting a free upgrade in Japan as well for the World Cup (on May 29th). Let's see if it can climb positions.

It's weird how Level 5 seemingly want to have all of their IPs present on the Switch this year. In the span of 6-8 months, there will be Snack World, Inazuma, Layton and Yokai Watch.
Not that weird.
They had alot of resources allocated to finishing Ninokuni 2 in time, which already was delayed. And also preparing IE and YW re-launches this year.

They are doing just fine on Switch now.

I love the subtlety of Nintendo. On their list of upcoming titles:

Fire Emblem (Complete New Game)
Pokemon (New Game)

Attention to detail is the path to success.

Mario Tennis will be interesting to see. Think it will do at least 500k, and it being the best-selling entry is not out completely of the question imo (though we need to see the exact quality of the game for that). Will definitely be fun to see how this game performs both first week and in the long term. As Chris said, it could be the second multiplayer game this year behind Smash. As such, it should be in a better position than ARMS was, since ARMS was lodged between MK8D and Splatoon 2, so there was always a major alternative releasing (or released) quite close to it.

Even Ultra Smash (bad game) sold 160k LTD on Wii U (low install base). Now we have Mario Tennis Aces (looks like it'll be good) on the Switch (growing install base). The Mario Tennis games have long legs and the combination of good quality and low competition may also raise its FW compared to Ultra Smash and Open. I think 500k LTD is a no-brainer.

Somewhere. I think.
The Layton's Mystery Adventure news makes me glad I hold off the original version (bad timing for me), though I wouldn't have minded playing it on 3DS at all.

Curious that the Famitsu leak mentions a touch pen... guess they're including one in the box?

I think it wouldn't be any better if you play it on switch, game is a snoozefest from the beginning to the end

Personally I wouldn't be surprised if Mario Tennis Aces surpasses 500K by the end of August. I'm expecting it to open below Kirby but above Arms.

Where does that come from? Curious to see how they describe Smash bros...

Looking at Hokanko's recap, it seems the price was not announced by Level 5. Just the release date.
Ah okay thanks. Lets hope they are somewhat smart about the price and its a solid adaptation - especially for the TV mode.
If this is supposed to be the foundation for upcoming Layton titles on the Switch they better deliver.

Somewhere. I think.
Snack World: Trejarers - 5 184 Yen
Snack Word: Trejarers Gold - 6 458 Yen (includes the Season Pass from the 3DS version)
Layton's Mystery Journey - 4 800 Yen
Layton's Mystery Journey DX - 5 000 Yen min. (5 600 Yen is my guess)

Gonna be funny to see the flop hot takes.
HD Kanto adventure?
On a console selling softwares like hell like the Switch?
May go for Sun and Moon's worldwide debut record.
