You also have to buy the full main theme separately :)
25 musics in each base game, there's already 20 music dlc scheduled until late June and more to come afterwards likely.
While there are certainly high production values on the music clips, the content is just ridiculous for a music game there.

And like P4D amongst the 25 base musics there are multiple remixes of of the same song as well, there's no way I'm gonna buy that at full price anyway the content delivered for the price asked is just not enough, you can look at the OT of the games to see that even for fans the complaints are there.
Jesus, I dont think they can get away with that in Japan, let alone the west

To be fair, that turned out to be free DLC, so they didn't completely lose it. Why it's DLC at all is a bit strange, but hey.

But yes, P3D and P5D are decidedly less value for the money than P4D was. Considering how fast the development cycle was and that there were essentially two different games within it, it's no surprise. Relatively, development costs probably weren't all that big, too.

Ah, fair enough. Will change my original post. But yea, the games feel a bit like a ripoff either way.

Detroit has bounced back to the number 1 spot on Amazon JP, and reviews look really good.

Wow lol.
That's pretty bad, even compared to other rhythm games.

It's likely because a significant part of their focus for the game's appeal isn't that it's a rhythm game, but that it's a way to see high quality, 3D models of fans' favorite characters dancing around. So more of a focus on choreography, accessories, and presentation, with less of a focus on number of songs and gameplay.

As far as big PS4 vs Switch comparaison, I guess now the next big one will be DQB2, or Inazuma Eleven (is that big enough?). Or maybe that Starlink game from Ubisoft.

Yeah, DQ Builders 2, Inazuma Eleven, and Orochi 4 are probably the biggest day and date multiplats. I would bet on Switch outselling PS4 for Builders 2 and Inazuma Eleven. PS4 for Orochi 4.

P4D already had pretty bad value for a rythm game, how they decided to do even worse for the sequel is a terrible decision for the players.

Have you heard of the game Idolm@ster Platinum Stars?

Hehehehe

You mean the one that killed Idolm@ster IP on the console space and that had a sequel the following year that didn't even sell half what the previous did?
It's not a Jojo's ASB terrible game but close enough.

Is FIFA 18 Switch going to outsell the PS4 version? I know sales are low but the PS4 version is usually nowhere to be seen but the Switch version charts in the top 50 on most weeks, I believe?

....... i dont see what Sammy said is wrong lol. As Switch version price is holding stronger and it had longer legs than the other 2.

Looks like L5 is bringing the Layton games to smartphones. Here's a tiny ass scan for ants.

Huge drop is expected for Persona Dancing at its second week and a big drop for Dark Souls since being a remaster doesn't look to find new audience except enthusiastic early buyers.

Is it just Japan? I don't think the west care about Megaman as much as this forum indicates either.

Mega Man looks like a low/mid budget (2d) title and it's priced accordingly. I doubt expectations are high anywhere.

I feel this entry will sell extremely well (at least on par with previous mainline entries).

Mega Man looks like a low/mid budget (2d) title and it's priced accordingly. I doubt expectations are high anywhere.

MM11 will sell well worldwide especially on digital channels.

MM Legacy Collection did 22k FW on 3DS so maybe MM11 can do a little bit more.

Ninrendo is really weird sometimes. 2018 or 2019 for Pokemon actually meant 2018 and 2019.

Right when we thought they should take a break they continue even stronger.

I'm not gonna post at the denial and madness of Pokemon thread but there aren't many with better Nintendo sources than King Zell in this forum, admins, mods or anonymous posters. If someone didn't discover internet recently and follows Media Create threads for (many) years he knows he is reliable.

I really enjoyed Fate/Extella: The Umbra Star on the Switch so hopefully Fate/Extella Link comes as well, eventually.
