I could see the game launching Q4 unless it's delayed.

For their big games, JP publishers are often skipping the Q4 window to avoid direct confrontation with bigger fishes (aka big Western games).

They prefer to release their games in Q1 (like RER2, DMCV, MHW, KH3, DBFZ, DBK, RE7, DSIII etc)

Yeah if they're going to delay Tales, it would be MUCH better to delay it all the way to Q1. With new consoles releasing and without a crossgen port all the attention is going to be sucked up by the big year finishers, even in Japan.

Those games were already out. Arise is very likely to be released after PS5 launch and that doesn't help the sale potential of the game. If Arise is released Q1 or Q2 this year, it will have much better chance for have good result.

With Nintendo it's just a case of building on their existing partnership. They apparently want to make games using Nintendo IP.

No idea. In Taiwan it was charting every week but dropped this week. In Korea it dropped from its second week but now is back. At first I thought it was a mistake and they switched the rankings but it's unlikely going by the news report.

It's beens some time now since I last looked forward for aN original game from Namco. Even tekken has lost my attention .

EDIT: By the way, is there anything you think he could have done differently to make the games more interesting to you, in your opinion? This is a subjective thing though (people find different games interesting in a various degree), but i'm just curious what you think about it =)
