Who cares for Square's Switch titles, everyone is expecting REMake 2 at the system that will mark Capcom's turning point.

Somewhere. I think.
Thought it was the director of Chrono trigger (or are they one in the same). He said he was working on a Switch game, though we have no idea how far along it could be.

Well...

There's a reason I called him "Final Fantasy IV" guy :p
But yeah, he also directed Chrono Trigger.

With Nintendo turning E3 video into a direct and apparently revealing and dating the entire schedule program for next six months it's possible preorders for many first party titles in Japan will start after E3. Maybe a PR announcement will be enough since next general direct won't be out before September.

Square Enix putting an entire business division into original switch games is exciting.

Shame they're having trouble recruiting HD devs.

Obviously he is working on FFIV switch port. It's about time we have another FFIV port.

Yeah, that makes sense, didn't realize he was so involved with ff IV. I just remember seeing him referered to as the director of Chrono trigger.

So now it looks like a Tales remaster is releasing this year. I have no idea what the expect and I doubt the other remasters would make for a good comparison.

That's what the Pro Evolution Soccer series is. So yes they still make them.

With the Fox Engine I might add.
Is there any proof? Feels like no one has talked about them since MGSV days when they announced the use of Fox Engine. Don't see them discussed at all in MC threads while FIFA seems to be getting more and more attention over the years. Is it possible that Winning Elecen ceased existing and that is what drives the increased FIFA sales? :)

The most baffling thing about PES/WE is that they've been losing international licenses (UEFA Champion's League, apparently Serie A, lost BVB prematurely...) so you'd think they would focus more on their home market. Instead they allowed EA to encroach on their space. Wonder how many years this franchise has left.

The mobile games are doing pretty well.

Maybe the real Winning Eleven was inside us all along.

At that point, 3DS had already a third party million seller, that is Monster Hunter, plus Level5 games above 300k like Layton and Inazuma.

So basically June 21 is when the big SW starts arriving for switch. Hopefully we see an improved baseline from that point on.

We have talked about them when Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2018 came out.
Winning Eleven has become less and less relevant, so it gets discussed less and less.
