brazil, unfortunately
Yokai Watch 4 releases tomorrow, right?

So I expect some really nice bumb on Switch numbers next Wednesday since the next chart will cover 3 days of sales.

Switch fever is about to star and it will last at least 6 months.

Things are about to get really crazy.

Nvmd the game got delayed untill June 20....

Is there anything new for Playstation appearing in next week's chart? I wonder if we might possibly see an all-NSW top ten. Dependent on just where Days Gone lands next week, I guess, and what's sitting just off the chart.

Woot it sold almost exactly the same amount as last week Oo (4.658 last week)

It's incredibly minor, but shouldn't it be --0%, then?

Rage 2 and Everybody's Golf VR will prevent a Switch top 10 next week.

7/10-9/10 will be the standard next months.

Pokemon bundles could have been restocked at more retailers last week.

People focus on Breath of the Wild but Minecraft outlegging all Nintendo evergreens but Smash after it had sold millions on all the other platforms is equally amazing.

Sword and Shield look like they've got a lot of features tailor-made for the Japanese market (in-world co-op play, etc.)- seems smartly tuned to giving sales a kick up the arse in the market if they sell it right.

Big part at last week's Switch bump played Pokemon direct announcement. Previous Pokemon direct had caused a spike at hardware sales, next week's thread will show if interest for new generation remains high.

I wonder if Links Awakening will also reach at least half the BOTW numbers...

Where is the PS3 at this point in its life, even with media create numbers. I imagine ps4 is still above it, but will follow below maybe shortly?
Still comfortably ahead. Over 400k lead. I hope Sony announce a WW price cut over the next month.

Happy to see Days Gone in the top 10. Not in my wildest dreams did I think it could do 200k retail.

Announcing a price cut now given the very soft release schedule would be a mistake.

If it is happening, September would be a good time with Monster Hunter and Borderlands.

what are the potential 1mi sellers Switch has for 2019? Pokemons, MM2, YW4 (?) and Animal Crossing?

Dont think Luigis Mansion and Zelda will reach that and Astral Chain probably wont even hit 100k in Japan, unless Nintendo really pushes it.
Fire Emblem will stay bellow 500k imo and Dragon Quest will do well for a port, but nothing close to PS4 numbers.

Still, 4 new million sellers in 6 months is very impressive.
Cant think of anything else relevant.

Fair point but it will be painful watching the sales until then. In Japan I guess September for the Icebourne launch makes sense.

We're heading towards the summer season, I suspect sales growth to rise a bit until end of June where it becomes exponential.

The Netherlands
Last time, the Pokémon Direct caused a 20k jump in sales for the week of the direct. It'll be very interesting to see if this one can raise the sales to above 45k for this week.

The window for Switch revision coming with Mario Maker has almost closed. If nothing is announced before E3 next possible release date is August / September.

Curious to see if the Pokémon Direct hype will have another effect on HW this week like how it happened when they Sword/Shield got revealed.

I think you said that preorders for SS open in July, could it be possible for the Switch Lite to be revealed by then so preorders for it can open alongside Pokemon?

Smash update helped Labo VR a bit but the real bump should come when Mario Kart implementation is announced.
