the hell, switch rose so much. i was expecting ~50k next week but it almost reached it this week.
after an atrocious first week it... held kinda well. could reach 20k eventually?
Any week where it continues to sell above 10k is a good week for it.

Labo legs continue to falter. You can tell it's not going to have the same evergreen legs as other games. The drops have been bigger ever week compared to other Nintendo games
That cute little love story between Japan and Detroit. To think Dark Souls Remastered went out of the top 10 before Quantic Dream's game is funny.
The expansion released mid-week with no prior warning, I'd say no
Number 1 is Pokémon Red/Blue and it's never gonna be beaten, but I think it needs 5+m to be in the all time top 10.

Labo Variety Kit - 4K(-17%)Splatoon 2 has just surpassed 600K for 2018, increasingly it's looking like Splatoon 2 should have a very good summer. Personally I expect another Splatoon 2 Bundle - maybe with a different color and Octo Expansion. I won't be surprised to see Splatoon being close to 1M for 2018 by the end of August.
Mario Tennis Aces and Minecraft should provide a big boost to software sales next week and I think as people have mentioned we could potentially be looking at Switch's best Hardware sales since Week 1. For MTA I'm expecting a launch below Kirby - I'd personally won't be surprised to see it open with 180K sales - I think YSO underestimated MTA while overestimating Minecraft's launch. I'd be impressed if Minecraft manages >80K next week since that would represent an increase of nearly x3 compared to it's best launch in Japan. Both games have a great chance to sell 1M before the end of 2018.
It's currently at 66th place not taking in account digital. 4 million needed to break into the top 20.

Man, Japan REALLY loves Nintendo. Splatoon 2 back on top is obvious since there was an expansion released. But Kirby is waaay too high, do we know if it has broken the 1M ww?

Nice Switch bump. Next week shall be even stronger since Mario Tenis will already be released and later there are Captain Toad and Octopath that might help a little.

Curious to see how long Splatoon 2's tentacles are with the DLC. It feels like this game just keeps on selling, but it'll bump into the paid online some time this year, which might hinder it.

Sales went up because people are disappointed at Nintendo's E3 presentation.

Yeah, easily. The question is how far up will it be? I could see it maybe even getting close to 75-100k, if next week is indeed gonna be a 60-70k week.
Hey, that strategy worked for me. Hollow Knight has taken over my life so I've spent less time reading the doom and gloom here.
