Some rises in the top 10 huh? It looks like not much happened this week.

PS4 down to three digits again.

From 3 digit number sales, Xbox actually selling quite a lot of units the past 2 weeks. Nice.

Xbox is lowkey surprising me these days. If they can keep these numbers consistent, it could be a huge win for MS.

Nintendo back at it again with the top 10.

I'm guessing the hybrid model is still supply constrained? They can only manage 61k a week? Maybe they're holding on to some stock for various summer releases?

yikes. nintendo's seeing major declines across all its major hardware lines (both nsw and 3ds down year over year?) while other platform holders are seeing their hardware sales surging over 2020. sure the top ten games are all nintendo switch titles, but if you look closer you can tell that none of them actually count:

game builder garage: budget release
ring fit adventure: non-game
minecraft: this sells on anything
miitopia: 3ds port
momotaro dentetsu: i don't know what this is
mario kart 8 deluxe: wii u port
monster hunter rise: spinoff/non-main/non-world title
super mario 3d world + bowser's fury: wii u port
super smash bros. ultimate: wii u port
animal crossing: new horizons: non-game

and considering most of these are first-party titles, it's easy to tell why companies are making deals left and right with sony and microsoft. those are the consoles of the future if this week proves anything.

Continuing from the Samurai Warriors 5 topic from the last thread.

Samurai Warriors 5 is a reboot focusing on only one period of Sengoku timeline. Not only has that cut down a major portion of the cast, but it also (seemingly) won't have the 3 most popular characters all of whom are popular because of the fujoshi community.

I respect Koei cutting off a portion of a fanbase if they're aiming for a brand new vision of what they want the series to be, but since we're in a sales thread, I'd say it definitely won't sell as much as SW4 or even Sanadamaru.

yikes. nintendo's seeing major declines across all its major hardware lines (both nsw and 3ds down year over year?) while other platform holders are seeing their hardware sales surging over 2020. sure the top ten games are all nintendo switch titles, but if you look closer you can tell that none of them actually count:

game builder garage: budget release
ring fit adventure: non-game
minecraft: this sells on anything
miitopia: 3ds port
momotaro dentetsu: i don't know what this is
mario kart 8 deluxe: wii u port
monster hunter rise: spinoff/non-main/non-world title
super mario 3d world + bowser's fury: wii u port
super smash bros. ultimate: wii u port
animal crossing: new horizons: non-game

and considering most of these are first-party titles, it's easy to tell why companies are making deals left and right with sony and microsoft. those are the consoles of the future if this week proves anything.
momotaro should also be counted as non game since there is no way real gamers like us would even try these casual board games

No new releases. So i think it's safe to say 70-75k is Switch's new baseline.

Wish Rise had better legs. Also wish we knew its digital sales beyond the last "physical shipped + digital sold > 3.5 million." Hope it can get to 4 million in a good time frame.

Great analysis. I just felt it missed a conclusion:
