Since people have gone back to the usual topics, thought I'd highlight some Dengeki sales (posted it earlier but I think people missed it?
Higher than Famitsu but still low

Good sales for these expanded ports.
02./00. [NSW] Fishing Spirits: Nintendo Switch Version (Bandai Namco Games) {2019.07.25} - 56,733 / NEW
03./00. [NSW] Rune Factory 4 Special (Marvelous) {2019.07.25} - 38,119 / NEW
Great sales for these baseball games. Also kind of crazy that Konami is basically 2/2 on titles for Switch selling over 100K.

07./03. [PSV] Professional Baseball Spirits 2019 (Konami) {2019.07.18} - 7,772 / 48,210

So while YW4 will definitely get past 250K, will it get past 300K? Hopefully a bit more than that?...

Even with Yoshi being less popular than Kirby & Mario, this doesn't seem great. Even the horrible Yoshi's New Island on 3DS sold better than this right?

Great performance here. Not sure if sales increased again recently because of the movie, but maybe it'll get to 400K retail.
48./37. [PS4] Marvel's Spider-Man [Value Selection] (Sony Interactive Entertainment) {2019.03.20} - 800 / 383,917
Lol... Vita has 4 titles (thanks to new releases) whereas 3DS has none... (although partly b/c Pokemon is split... otherwise I'd guess it'd be top 50).

Probably no need for another, timing was kind of bad between two other 2D Mario's but I'm sure Good Feel will put out another title before the end of the generation even if it's not Yoshi related
I mean XBC had a similar rise in fortunes with a slight road bump in XCX already, but XBC2 was a breakout sales success like Awakening so I expect better and better things budget wise for the series going forward.
Crafted World still shipped a million in like its first month. It will probably finish north of 2m maybe more depending on how they discount it. Seems like it did fine to me.
but what will ILikeFeet strive for in life if XBCX is released for Switch?
I'm actually afraid to think what Takahashi will bring with the next Xenoblade. He can easily became megalomaniac, due his past works.
I mean, from what I remember, XB was never planned to be a "Saga" or something like that. It was a game with good ideas, a good execution, but it wasn't a game which people predicted the success. Actually it's debatable the success, but it seems that it was the case for Nintendo.
What I'm saying is that, for a game for a beggining, middle and end by itself, Xenoblade was a game which proved itself, even against the will of Nintendo of America, which on that time was more concerned on promoting the worst mainline Zelda ever created (which, due to Nintendo patterns, it's still good).

Game sold/shipped 1m in 3 days.
It didnt even get its first Holiday and is still charting 4 months later, it'll do pretty well for the franchise overall.
Yoshi released 3/29 and shipped 1.11 million in it's first week.
We didn't get an update, but did very well to start.
It's a very western sales franchise though. Not everything can rule JP like ARMS

BlackKite tweeted the weekly Tetsuya and COMG charts, and holy cow, Omega Labyrinth on Switch not only on the chart (if low), but the PS4 version is a no show. Will people actually buy the uncensored Switch version over the censored PS4 version after all?
I remember folks feeling that JP would just prefer the PS4 version anyway, but it's actually looking like that may not be the case. We'll see when the actual sales come out, but from what we have here, I'm legit surprised!
Sony won't complain. They'll probably make more profit off a ps4 sale, it gets them into the eco system and with digital sales rising/ps plus it will be quite profitable for them. When the ps5 is cheaper down the line they'll upgrade.
And as I said even if the developers only wanted to make their game for the ps4 it will be on the ps5 by default.
I stand corrected. After the delay and the manner in which Nintendo just dropped a release date for it, it didn't appear they were that confident in it.
I guess one can never underestimate the green dinosaur.

Fishing spirits no. 2 at GEO is kinda beast, isn't it? Should indicate that it has a vrry devent chance to do 30k in its second week.
I'm surprised that people thought the PS4 version would chart higher. It's a game that hinges on the lewd content (cause I sure as hell didn't even know what the game even looked like until just before it released). Either the switch version did better or this game would do significantly worse than one would expect (and not chart at all)
We've been giving Namco (justified) crap for not supporting Switch with big budget titles and their arcade fishing port with a giant shark on the box art is probably going to outsell every PS4 Namco release in Japan.
Imagine telling someone four years ago that ARMS is going to be bigger than Yo-Kai Watch.
Some would have called that a pretty big reach.

It doesn't matter and it should give all its support regardless of domestic relevance because « reasons » (used sales, asia, the west, pope francis)

Do wonder what the introduction of the pro and the X mean for the ps5/XB2 early on.
If users really wanted better tech, shouldn't more of them have bought the pro? If Backwards compatibly is suddenly a big secret weapon despite being a thing before, why would users feel so compelled to upgrade?

Having your new systems adoption rate crippled by your old console is not good. Especially since when the old one has low sales already (in Japan). The new one needs a presence of some kind.
