It was supposed to come to the Switch. It was part of the January 2017 slide with Japanese third-party games. Unfortunately, nothing ever came out of it. Who knows, maybe it's a SMTV situation, but everyone seems to have forgotten about it.After Momotarou Dentetsu, I wanna see a new Derby Stallion on Switch. That could become pretty big too.
hiska-kun Any update on when we're going to get MC CY Top 1000 numbers for 2019? I'm quite hyped about it :D
Updates are coming very soon for many things. We won't need to wait much longer.
Is zakatana even participating in those threads anymore for this joke to still be relevant?Too many kids scared away by NSO to make Momotaro a million seller. Gonna get cut down like Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 DX, Let's Go Pikacu/Let's Go Eevee, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Pokémon Sword and Shield were before it
Kids also don't pay for a game 3-4 months before released either.I know it's a joke, but seriously now Momotaro high pre-orders are from nostalgic people that played the game a decade ago or more, so people over 20yo. Kids weren't born or playing games when this was popular.
We talk for next Momotaro Dentetsu not next Pokemon.Arguably it could also be adults preordering it for their kids anyways.
Nobody truly does capture the female audience like Nintendo does.Splatoon and Ring Fit Adventure taking off as new IPs was good for Nintendo and both are popular with women. I wonder what Nintendo will try next.
Those kids will play Momotaro and they will LIKE IT or NO DINNER.
Abandoning the franchise was always seen as a stupid move given how well it had always sold and the fact that it's a pretty modest game budget-wise.
Welcome back, was wonderong where you disappeared toI just saw so much potential in the idea. It had the exercises of WiiFit but in a much more compelling package. The big drawback of WiiFit is it got boring and people abandoned it. Thus ending word of mouth. (I myself did it everyday for 2 months and then never came back to it). I figured since Ring Fit Adventure looked appealing and had and actual goal beyond "git fit" people would be talking about it for a long time (and it made me preorder it). I also thought that since part of the game is a cloth strap that gets sweaty, few people would want to buy it used, keeping new copies selling.

Hah. Do we still get the Vinnk local retailer updates?
Yes of course, this makes total sense. Better to be safe and do the right thing.I'm here every week. I just don't have that much to say. Not going to wade into the Monster Hunter on Switch arguments. I will however occasionally make a snarky comment about NSO killing all the evergreens.
I'd love to. I stopped because there wasn't really anything to report. But now with the Switch and Ring Fit shortages and the beginning of a new Sony generation, it might make for some fun anecdotal info. Interest wise, It would be a great time to start again.
Unfortunately with the global pandemic and rising cases in Japan I think it would be irresponsible for me as a parent to hit 8 game store a week to check on hardware/software stocks.
If things ever settle down, I hope to do it again.
Imagine Konami having a million seller on Switch and not any other Japanese publisher.😂
It would also be one of the rare franchise that became million-seller in the past decade from a JP 3rd party publisher.Imagine Konami having a million seller on Switch and not any other Japanese publisher.😂
Someone needs to make a thread :^)Imagine Konami having a million seller on Switch and not any other Japanese publisher.😂

What's more outlandish, Momo hitting 1 million or my prediction of Brain Training not only beating its 3DS predecessor, but going on to sell at least 750k?All we need is Tbone5189 to will 1M for Momotarou Dentetsu into existence.
TIL :PMomotaro Densetsu and Momotaro Dentetsu are two different series. This is a Momotaro Dentetsu game
I learned this in a media create thread :p

On just the Vita? Or does this include 500k+ PC sales? What's as-of date are we talking about?Atlus gave an official number for Persona 4 Golden - It shipped 1.5M worldwide
Weird.I have the book now in my hands.
Will take a while to work through all of it.
The bad news I have noticed so far:
Capcom has not updated anything, so no Monster Hunter World or other stuff.
FFXV got taken out of the ranking for whatever reason.
For the Vita is life crowd:
Atlus gave an official number for Persona 4 Golden - It shipped 1.5M worldwide
Just Vita, as of December 31st 2019On just the Vita? Or does this include 500k+ PC sales? What's as-of date are we talking about?

If Chris is saying S-E dropped out in 2017, what makes you say S-E is still in the mix? Are there some juicy number updates from it?
