Friday morning start for Astral Chain was favorable (related to shipment size I guess).

In any case, I expect the game to be the best selling new release of the week, above Azure Lane.

Media Create top 1000 hype!!

But yeah, it's not like the Japanese market has suddenly changed into a healthy industry again. The Switch launch gave it a breather, but it's all reliant on Nintendo now. Right now, Famitsu's hardware YTD is trailing 14% lower than last year's YTD (which is more than 500.000 units), so that indicates further decline again. Hopefully the Switch Lite can change that, but then we'll have a lower 2020 and 2021, because Nintendo can't release a new console every year (and no market can hold that) and the PS5 launch will be a non-event unless something extremely surprising happens.
