What's wild is that the FAQs for the registration to possibly pre-order a PS5 (don't get me started on that absurdity) indicate that the PS5 is going to be incredibly supply constrained.

And so you can't buy a PS4 right now (bc they're focusing on PS5 production), but you won't be able to buy a PS5 (bc they're only going to have limited stock). It's going to be interesting to see the sell-through numbers this fall/winter.

Yup, someone's really busy manufacturing Pee Ess Five consoles, heh. Probably the safest, you never know what Covid-19 will do to manufacturing and shipping this Fall/Winter, better to get as many units ready as possible, and ships the rest of PS4 production to countries where people actually buy it.
