Fair point. Changed my wording to "biggest retail debut" :P
I don't dislike their games, but WxW too me felt like a breath of fresh air for them content-wise, Nobuyuki Inoue being responsible for the scenario really caught my interest. Hopefully someone brings it to the west.I overall like what Furyu is doing. The new Caligula, Work x Work and Crystar all interest me, but nothing they make sell. Pretty sad.
Super Mario Party is doing well. I expect it to stay on the list for a long time.
Dragon Ball Fighterz had a better second week than Xenoverse 2 did last year, so that's a good sign.
Expectations matched sales.

That whole "FuRyu leaving gaming" this was debunked right? But with results like this I dunno why they keep trying.
Forza Horizon 4 maybe, combined with a deal of some sort? Just spitballing here.
Yeah, they never said that. Just that they didn't have anymore stuff to announce for sometime (as they already have many projects underway).I didn't realise Work x Work was this week. Yikes. That whole "FuRyu leaving gaming" this was debunked right? But with results like this I dunno why they keep trying.
? But Caligula is releasing in the west. I expect Work x Work to release here too.Maybe it's time to realize that they can't rely solely on the japanese market.
Huh, what's with the XB1 spike there (Okay, a spike of XB1 proportions, so still minor, but a noticeable spike nevertheless). Did that get a price drop too?
maybe from Forza bundle.
The Switch evergreen are at their lowest point they have been all year, and the hardware is still in the same range as always. When can we expect things to start picking up?
Of course :)Hmm, Megaman sold more on Switch. I'm sure all those people "concerned" about 3rd party sales on Switch last week will be back to acknowledge this performance.
Switch continuing the trend of better 1st party sales from last gen, rebranding the game did it good.Formatting edited to current style:

Biggest retail debut in de series since Mario Party 9.
You can't have spikes at hardware without big titles. Evergreens and continued flow of new releases keep the baseline steady. The Switch must have the most incredibly consistent hardware sales percentage change week to week ever for a console up to this point in the year. That shit just is stable.
hiska-kun Looks like the Switch will start beating the Wii on a consistent basis.

Pretty unremarkable week all the same, slightly harsh drop for PS4 I guess.
I still don't get this. what the hell was in it for Hino? turning Red Ash into a multimedia IP? Inafune got some dirt on Hino? drugs?I see now why Inafune got a job there. Kindred spirits them...
Ouch @ PS4 sales. Given the PS4 Pro sales dropped 2500, the PS4 sales would only be 16500 anyway without the price cut announcement.

Starting this week, all the way up to christmas. Evergreen are low this week because the new big evergreen of this fall just released.
I think it just looks kind of ass visually. Like, extremely cheap, and not in a charming way in-game. Shame seeing Furyu keep losing, especially after Caligula Overdose was pretty damn good, but /shrug.I don't dislike their games, but WxW too me felt like a breath of fresh air for them content-wise, Nobuyuki Inoue being responsible for the scenario really caught my interest. Hopefully someone brings it to the west.
Crystar looks like it could be good too.
