I don't think releasing RE games ports for 30$ when they came out for 20$ physical as PS4/Xbone titles is respecting your userbase. Especially as download only games.

Certainly doesn't help things in Japan but I'm past buying carts, especially of Capcom games, that will most certainly receive a digital sale in the next few months. Buying anything by Capcom day one is a mistake unless you really want to play with your friends.

At least for Ace Attorney the great detective 2 or whatever iOS got a fan translation or is getting one.
I hope DQM gets announced next year.

Can we add Paper Mario fans to the disappointment list. Cause in their case they can get a new ground up exclusive and end up more ticked than before. Not too many franchises where that's a likely possibility. (metroid FF is another example I can think of)

Can't wait for Chop Till You Drop, Spyborgs and Dark Void on Switch.

Port Zack & Wiki you cowards.

The only DR games that are no good at all are XBOX exclusive...and the onrail shooters are dope.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not particularly excited about what Capcom did on the Switch this year and last, but I still bought a lot of them because they're good games portable for the first time and some of them were pretty good efforts. I think I own all but two of their Switch releases that came out before the most recent batch and I intend to buy all of them when they hit the right price, which being Capcom games they most assuredly will.

The only games Capcom released on the Switch that were good efforts imo are Revelations 2, Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate (after we bitched and complained forever and they caved) and Dragon's Dogma. Everything else has been a super weak ass port.

They did a good job with Revelations 1 as well. I have no real complaints about SFAC either. Everything else hasn't been great but as long as I waited for a sale I didn't spend too much for them.

Okami HD was also a great port. Best version honestly given the control options.

Considering how Revelations 1 looks, it should run a lot better than it does imo.

It's a good port but I mean, it's a PS2 game and I don't know how you fuck up porting that especially when the other console ports were also very good. But sure, let's call it 4.

I'd take a Stories port. already looks good emulated.

I would have taken Stories in 2017. Right now why would anyone want to pay Capcom tax for this old ass 3DS game when there is so much new content available?

I wanted this day one and said as much in 2016/2017. I was pretty convinced it would be ported too lol.

now?
I haven't even beaten LA and LM3 is coming out soon. Plus I had a passing interest in seeing little town hero but there's no reviews yet.
And I will eventually get Yooka I think

feels too late.

"Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S has returned to 1st place. This title is also compatible with Nintendo Switch Lite specializing in mobile mode. In addition, purchases from customers in their 30s and 40s who were playing the first to third Dragon Quest in real time are conspicuous. Sales are bigger for Regular Edition comparing to Gorgeous Edition.

Disney Tsum Tsum Festival ranked 3rd. It can be enjoyed by family, so we expect it to become a classic title towards the end of the year."

The rise and hold of many PS4 titles point to a substantial decline of the Switch this week.

Yeah only Ys IX seemed to rise on Geo, which is odd since I'm pretty sure that's the one that Chris said had stopped selling for the most part.

So from the regular 18% discount to 25%. Not much of a drop. Maybe Geo had a sharper drop though.

Or maybe last week Ys IX just had smaller drop than the other games.
Don't think it's worth fussing about. All those games are not new release with the exception of Disney Tsum Tsum and YW1.
Likely the sales numbers are low across the board, especially with the recent VAT hike.

Ys IX was #17 on Tsutaya.

So yes, I think it's highly likely that Geo had a bigger price-cut for it than elsewhere, which led to it rising in sales rank.

The Typhoon at least reduced one day of sales in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Trains stopped service around midday on Saturday and didn't start again until next day (some lines until the afternoon). Some shops also closed, for example Bic Camera. The most populated area of the country paralyzed for one day (and a half) definitely will have an impact lowering sales.

I definitely see Switch being down WOW due to the typhoon, but...I believe we're framing the information coming from the GEO Top 10 incorrectly. For reference, here's last week's Geo Top 10

"Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint ranked 1st. This is a military open world shooter game with online four-player cooperation. I expect more players in the future.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and Monster Hunter: World - Iceborne Master Edition are following. All new September releases are ranked, some of which are expected to become classic titles."

Somewhere. I think.
I see this thread has reverted back to good ol' Capcom bashing, but y'all will feel ashamed of your words and deeds when Capcom finally releases The Californian Raisins: The Grape Escape as Switch exclusive.

$60 and digital-only, of course.

Nintendo is Lex Luthor's favorite video game company

this makes sense if you read Scott Snyder's Justice League

On top of being extremely late and announced with a tweet, they also dropped the game two weeks after World on PC which took all the spotlight.
yeah i forgot exactly when the PC version came out, but i remembered it was out by the time Ultimate was released to the west. A theory of mine is that they held Iceborne to release in Sept. to cockblock any possible announcement of a new MH entry on the Switch (if it's in development).

If they are making an MH for switch, it will be released for everything.

And all the previews will be of the PS4 version

And the switch will be delayed and digital only
