Since Street Fighter V foubd themselves in a similar arrangement too. Capcom is cozying up to Sony.

Compared to 4m+3m for the updated versions oft the more popular MH games there is a clear decline in Japan. It also remains to be seen how much the next mainline entry sells.

Yeah its a really big decline from the peak PSP/3DS days. But the audience is proving quite loyal more the most part.

The PS5 will probably sell less than the PS4, so I would imagine the next MH will also decline.
