With My Nintendo Store sales included Switch is around half million behind 3DS launch aligned at the moment. Since October - December was strong for 3DS maybe it won't surpass it in December but it will be over in January or February.

We will likely see 4 additional million sellers for this FY appear in this quarterly report, with those being Super Mario Party, Sword and Shield, NSMUDX, and Splatoon. Odyssey will be an edge case.

Odyssey sole 650K last quarter so it will probably make it, even with 0 increase from last year Q2.

Luigi's Mansion 3 is also a large possibility, we only don't know the sales for it since it isn't in the top 10.

Oh yeah, I didn't think about that; That game could be close. Mario Maker 2 is probably a 50/50 chance. For reference, LM3 almost sold a million in its second quarter (FQ4), and Mario Maker sold around half a million in FQ4 of FY3/2020.

Oh crap that's great too. I totally forgot about RFA lol. I don't think it did that well in terms of holiday sales last year but that's. Because stock wasn't there. RFA will probably have the best legs (or at least top 3) after a year after release of any game in japan.

Its sales curve is so crazy; it started off as a square root/ negative sloped parabola and then turned into a constant growth curve.

Yeap, ACNH legs have been crazy so far, but RFA is in its own weird bubble. It's because it's supply restraint and not a digital title (well you need the ring thing) and sales are better than ever. Hopefully stock will come as I think RFA will have the best holiday ever for any title outside of its release year

Being the app market so competitive nowadays, it's a hit or miss with the smartphone games.
Like any other developer (and specially with live games), when the game isn't profitable anymore they tend to shut it down.

I don't see anything that could give us a hint about the current state of Level-5 (IPs and/or company).

That's really weird.

I'm guessing the PS5 version was a super last minute decision and a retail release ended up not actually being viable over just having people buy the PS4 version.

When they announced the release date for Europe and North America, a physical PS5 version was already missing for those regions. I wonder what's going on here.
