Good to be back. Nice numbers for Itadaki and City Shrouded in Shadow (I think it beat Disaster Report 3's FW).

Next week will be interesting.

I'm pretty optimistic on Animal Crossing's earnings potential given how well Gardenscapes and Homescapes are doing in Japan despite being Russian games, the strength of the Animal Crossing IP, and the fact the game looks competent both as a product and as a service.

It having a regular mobile f2p business model is of course the most important key.

Yay I'm there. Gotta get used to the new layout though.

I think AC will do very well, the business model seems to be rather tame so revenue might not be absolute craziness though.

SalesERA represent! We've arrived. Discord pouring in as we speak!

GT:S sales are not good. 50k below GT6, which launched with 205k sales, and in turn sold half of GT5, which in its turn sold a third of GT4. Steep decline in the series.

Switch at 1894k, so to reach 2 million next week it needs to sell 106k or more. I think that is very well doable, so 2 million thread next week I think.

Digital transfer complete. Lets discuss some sales.

Next week is going to be interesting. I am especially curious to see the bump for other Switch games.

Good to be back.

Even though I didn't technically miss a week, what with how quick this forum went up.

I was just about to ask about this. The game looks to be well designed and going for a much better gameplay idea that what I expected.

I'm curious as to how much has changed from their plan pre-delay given that they had the chance to see how their other apps performed for an extended time.

Edit: I just saw your thread on the subject and it looks like my suspicions were correct.

Ahh It's only been a few days but I've missed this.

Good to see Itadaki Street didn't crater completely, will be interesting to see what legs it has.

2M next week should be doable. The big question will we whether Switch will be able to touch the 3DS's graph in two weeks. I think the shipment will be bigger than with Splatoon 2 in July. Not because Super Mario Odyssey is a bigger game in Japan, but simply because there's more supply available. The holidays will be interesting.

Feels good to be back.
What are the odds of over 100k Switch next week for the Odyssey blowout?

Oh yeah. A lot higher of an opening for Itadaki than I was expecting. There may still be life left in the series.

Guess for SMO week:

Switch - 200k
SMO - 430k

I am quite optimistic about the stock, seeing as the weeks before the last two yielded about 80k, so I think we can hit the 200k (let's hope so!).

Not sure about how many Switches, hopefully Nintendo can ship a lot. For Mario, I'm going to guess and opening of 380k.

Gran Turismo continues the slow decline of the franchise. It's down 25% compared to GT6 which underperformed

I wonder where the franchise will go for GT7 to stem the continued decline. Maybe it's time for a new Arcade section of the game?

Mario: 280k Switch: 100k

About Animal Crossing: It will be a huge success for sure, but this may be the first Nintendo IP going mostly mobile from now on. It's almost the full experience.

Shame though about FE Warriors; I really like it.

Guess the franchise doesn't have kind of pull to play a Warriors spin-off.

I'm not sure if we'll see a "permanent" upward tick after the release of SMO. Next week will be big, but I think Switch numbers after that probably will depend on the availability of the SMO bundle, like the Splatoon bundle increased the so called baseline for many weeks.

Switch: 100k
SMO: 300k

I didn't know I had so many fans before this transition, I was going from fight to fight to GAF when I was in the mood.

Given the drops that we have been seeing on PS4 this generation, and the sales of GT6, 150k for Gran Turismo Sport doesn't strike me as the worst case scenario.

Glad to see all of you here, even if I mostly lurk the media create threads!
