Ark has surprised me here. Expected the strong Mario performance and amazing Switch hardware, but did not anticipate Ark being anywhere on this list -- let alone at 70k.

Odyssey starts out strong! It deserves every sale it gets... Also, I expect Pocket Camp is what caused New Leaf's bump (Just as Pokemon Go boosted other Pokemon Games).
The series is also losing some presence. Last year you could see plenty of 12Sai merch and signs at book stores, but I haven't seen any recently.
Pocket Camp has yet to be released in Japan, though. I don't know how much the news affected those who have yet to buy the game. It might simply be that as holidays are approaching some family games start selling more.
Seems low for what will probably be the only Gran Turismo game on PS4.
The power of Animal Crossing is amazing. Even without the safety net of a 150m+? install base, New Leaf managed to do simillar numbers on the 3DS. The Switch is blessed to be getting it.
These GT6 data are not right (or maybe not from MC).

Anyway best switch week since launch is great. With the splatoon 2 Switch bump, the week afterwards had almost the exact same switch sales, so hopefully that will happen this time as well.

Xenoblade 2 comes out in a month so a Direct for it would make sense.

Not really. Just for some perspective, its LTD has currently been surpassed by every Nintendo first party Switch game but Pokken DX, which will probably get close.

It did not.
It dropped off the charts. It did better than the PSV entry (launch game, after all) and the related PS3 porting but those were not high bars to begin with. It was completely obliterated by the 5th entry on PS3. The serie was a huge seller back then, now it has a hard time in reaching 250k units.
I'm just skeptical a Direct could have reached people that have yet to play Animal Crossing. Typically it targets an informed audience. Perhaps the second factor played a bigger role.
Is SMT Redux good? Haven't seen a modicum of impressions anywhere. Sales were good, I guess. I mean, it's a pretty low effort as far as "remakes" go so I'm sure it didn't cost that much.
Today I'm using another computer with a different apply to cut the pictures and I don't know if they are too big or what. Can you tell how you see them? Too big? As always?
