I'm waiting on Animal Hunter: Monster Crossing. That has potential to sell 6mil+ easily ;)

I'm still on board with 6mil, but 4.5mil area seems like the "safe" bet

The Switch has the whole market for itself, i really doubt it will sell in the same range as MHF3.
And anyway, your safe bets are almost always wrong. Your safe bet only confirmed that you are "ALL-IN" on the 6M bet!

Apparently it has sold over 350k physical and we know it has had strong digital sales with large spikes whenever there was a discount, so it is already close to 500k, and will undoubtely clear that mark before it is done selling. Probably even before MHR releases.

If this version had launched together with the 3DS, I think 1 million could have been very likely.

There isn't anything to add after first day report.

Pikmin 3 will open over 100k at retail with big digital too.
Shin Megami Tensei III around 100k, 50/50 split between PS4 and Switch, limited edition has big share at sales.
Watch Dogs: Legion will continue the trend of declining western sales.
Kamen Rider has bad word of mouth and will fail to chart high.
Many releases but it doesn't look anything else will exceed 20k.

The new Kamen Rider game was by NatsumeAtari. Lancarse did the prior Switch-specific Climax game.

I think 8ing did the PS4 game before that and of course did the vast majority of the games in the decade prior. I wonder if they've retired from the series?

I'm sure it will be fine but it was obvious that the appeal of the graphics would be damaged somewhat by the fact that Next Gen was coming. Even worse now that it's delayed. It's effectively in the exact same position Zestiria was.

Of course it could resurface and be massively upgraded on next gen, or obviously subpar on current gen.

They should take a few extra months to add some next-gen features. Big AAA JRPG on PS4/XB1 (and for current-gen only titles in general) does not have nearly the same appeal with next-gen's arrival. Crash 4 learned this the hard way. Need to quickly reposition as an early next-gen showcase somehow.

You'd think Switch ports of Zesteria and Berseria, or literally a Graces Definitive Edition for the 10th anniversary would've happened by now.

I'm sure Q-Loc or even Engine Software for Switch would happily step up to the plate if BN would just ring them up.

Speaking of graphics not being that impressive to the mainstream because of next gen where is Granblue Fantasy Relink?

But honestly besides the several nonstop delays what it may have put the development of the game heads up is Genshin Impact. Cygames was aiming for a traditional RPG but now that console gacha works more than ever they should consider reworking the business model unless they want the risk of being another game in the red ocean along with Avengers and other failed GaaS. They want games with long lifespan prospect gicen the aggresive DLC already present in versus. Gacha F2P is still very new to console players.

With mobile tech advancing and being able to deliver multiplat games with consoles with explorable 3D environments feels like a no brainer. Monolithsoft should consider given their experience with XB2 and much like Fire Emblem Heroes I could see the mobile/console game being far more profitable than any mainline game.

I hope it sells in Japan because my expectations for Pikmin in the west are dismal.

I'm not double dipping either for that matter...

I hope Pikmin 3 Deluxe can be the first game in the series to hit 2 million LTD. I wasn't that excited for this release either, but I picked it up and I'm falling in love with the series all over again.

There isn't much interest for it I'm seeing on Nintendo's social media, its just getting ignored between the Mario and Zelda stuff. I checked NA e-shop and it's the #2 game this weekend behind Hades so hopefully it can leg it there in the top charts for a couple weeks. Really hoping Japan pulls through for this game.

Even if Pikmin 3 DX sells the same as the Wii U version, the Switch version will be more profitable since the higher digital share.
