It's on game pass thoughOn Xbox 1.5 + 2.5 is $50 and 2.8 is $60. Full price late ports are no issue tbh.

I'm looking forward to everyone in this thread putting out their monster hunter forecast for the switch.
I think this is going to move a lot of hardware as well.
Do you really think it would go over well to sell a 40$ collection as games separately? people already complain when there's the slightest price difference between console versions of a game
of course file size is an issue, it has always been one for ports of Switch titles
I currently don't see any dated game able to do it. We'll have to wait but that's sadly at least a 3 months gapWith PS5 anemic release schedule next months it will be a long of time until PS5 titles chart in top 10 again.
I'll buy it at full price even. The first 2 KH games are worth my moneySquare Enix could release 1.5 and 2.5 separately on Switch and make even more money lol
If every developer supports the ps5 there will still be no growth for sony, rather decline for every non-nintendo ip.The de facto Japanese support for PS5 is on the way from every small and big developer in the country, give it time.

FFX/X-2 HD Remaster (PS4) 32.11GB
FFXII: The Zodiac Age (PS4) 40.68GB
FF Type-0 HD (PS4) 26.8GB
FFX came with a code for X-2. I think Japan got the full games on cart?Switch:
FFX/X-2 HD 14GB
FFXII: The Zodiac Age 12.7GB
Is the former right? Seems way too small. It's from Nintendo's site.
Yeah, its true that those games are smaller sellers compared to some of the mainline numbered games, indeed.Rhythm games are inherently a niche genre. Similar to Musou games and Persona. I was being a little melodramatic with my comment but I do sincerely believe that Sony plays a role in preventing some third party titles from being released on Nintendo platforms.
Hehe, Microsoft did manage to get FF13 and FF15 for Xbox on the same day, so its not impossible :) But that said, yeah, its probably a slim chance for that happening anytime soon, i agree, mostly due to Square Enix seems to have a stronger partnership with Sony here (FF7 Remake is still only for PS4, and FF16 will be exclusive for PS5 for a while), and maybe a bit due to the technical gap (the game might be able to scale though).I'll eat my hat when a mainline FF game launches on a Nintendo platform alongside a Sony platform.
Yeah but the page has a digital purchase option. And it was South East Asia that got the whooping 32GB full pack IIRC.FFX came with a code for X-2. I think Japan got the full games on cart?
The american eShop lists FFX/X2- as 26.9GB.Yeah but the page has a digital purchase option. And it was South East Asia that got the whooping 32GB full pack IIRC.
Thanks! :) Odd that the website page differed. Oh well. The american eShop lists FFX/X2- as 26.9GB.
EDIT: Already mentioned above =)
It looks like SE isn't pushing XVI's visuals as hard as you'd expect from a mainline FF. If the Switch gets new hardware in the next 12-18 months that's the best chance they'll have at a mainline FF game in decades. I believe it's PS5 exclusivity is only 6 months.
Possibility Square porting XVI only to a potential Switch Pro ignoring older models is smaller than developing a new Final Fantasy exclusively for Switch. It looks like SE isn't pushing XVI's visuals as hard as you'd expect from a mainline FF. Final Fantasy 16 Cloud VersionI'll eat my hat when a mainline FF game launches on a Nintendo platform alongside a Sony platform.
Realistically, I could see the FFXIII trilogy launching next year
So releasing a better product than the previous one? Sounds good to meIsn't it like releasing Super Mario 64 after Super Mario Sunshine? Who would want that?
/obvious bad satirical attempt at concern trolling
Yeah, i see it on Nintendo's website now. It says "Game File Size: 14GB", but in the description of the game it says " Full game installation size: 26.9GB". Maybe they 14GB is referring to the cart version, but i'm not sure :) Or perhaps the 14GB is referring to FFX alone (while 26.9GB is for FFX + FFX-2 combined).
My prediction is the usual with Switch AAA games: high expectations, retail sales being weaponized as underperforming for some cheap console war, PR including digital coming a few days later with monster numbers.
Let's be real, they could get away with releasing everything but 2.8 individually.Square Enix could release 1.5 and 2.5 separately on Switch and make even more money lol
I only go by Famitsu Most Wanted in which case it's gonna be a big ol' bomba
Is this the first time animal crossing has been out of the top 10?Tsutaya's Rankings are out:
Rise and Stories 2 also getting PC releases is great news too.
In the Capcom leak. Also Great Ace Attorney 1 & 2 for Switch/PS4.
Without PC 10mil was going to happen with PC im going to say 18mil+.
Probably less than 1% of actual consumers. We live in a bubble in this part of the internet where we are more aware of small minute details that the average consumer won't know or care about. Now I wonder if the PC leak will affect the Western sales on Switch. I'm sure some people will now decide to wait.

Source RE: 450k Japan forecast? That leaked Stories 2 design doc has got me hyped. It looks so good! Also Capcom's expecting around 450k sales in Japan for it.

I'm not direct linking to stolen materials but you can find reddit/twitter threads easily by googling.
Probably not many. Don't expect an Iceborne repeat here, people prefer using Switch for it's versatility and convenience while PS4/XBO don't really do much PC can't but better. Now I wonder if the PC leak will affect the Western sales on Switch. I'm sure some people will now decide to wait.
No luck finding it, but that's OK.I'm not direct linking to stolen materials but you can find reddit/twitter threads easily by googling.

Yeah, hopefully they do crossplay. Would be silly not to as the game isn't exactly a competitive title.
Idk, if they implement crossplay my interest will be up from "might pick up after I burn out on World" to "absolute must buy"Now I wonder if the PC leak will affect the Western sales on Switch. I'm sure some people will now decide to wait.
