Better debut then expected for Pokémon. And damn, seeing a Wii U game in the Top 20, and outselling Switch and PS4 version, really feels weird.

I know it doesn't really mean that much since it is an expansion, but the Switch SKU being higher than the PS4 SKU is pretty interesting. The game must have a pretty nice user base on Switch as a result of the upgrade program for former Wii players.

Mario Odyssey decreased 15% from last week but is still selling well.

Amazing numbers for Nintendo.

No it has a better opening week than every third versions (Yellow, Crystal, Emerald and Platinum).

Pokemon has more frontloaded sales nowadays than in the past though. In the end it will be probably the worst selling third version Pokemon game in Japan.

The previous DQX release did better on PS4 than Switch, so i assume that's one reason why there aren't many new buyers. Also, if we combine all the DQX releases on PS4 vs all the DQX releases on Switch (retail and digital), the PS4 version is ahead.

Just noticed that MC and Famitsu are quite close, for Pokémon: 1 199 000 for the latter, and 1 163 000 for the former. 36k for download cards seems like a believable number.
