The lack of PS5 sales has to be due to stock, right? I have to imagine it would be selling a bit better if there was more stock. Not a great start for Sony though.

There is definitely untapped PS5 demand (it is out of stock), but it's not massive, as the demand from the lotteries isn't close to the demand from switch lotteries in may.

verify you near store and check if you find one if not yes stock problems world wide. More Japan that is not so important form them now with the west focus.

Either that or it will be a repeat of the SMT anniversary where they announce the next mainline but it won't come out for several years.

I don't think Sony have yet to announce the release date of the PS5 for all Asia countries (I know Thailand still doesn't, but not sure about others) so I doubt the supply issue will increase much. Heck at this point I expect the system to be released in Thailand next year lol.

Hopefully Sony will have higher supply at least for christmas week and new years week. it would be nice to see two console with healthy weekly sales for couple of weeks before PS5 plummets in January lol.
