Switch outsold Wii U lifetime sales in 10 months according to Famitsu.

The Switch has three 1 million sellers on those 10 months.

Splatoon 2 - 1,752,096 units
Super Mario Odyssey - 1,324,280 units
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - 1,103,744 units

Wii U had four 1 million sellers during its lifetime. From https://sites.google.com/site/gamedatalibrary/game-search

I just noticed that that lazy ass Mario Party game outsold the previous 3DS entry's launch week. Legs are guaranteed to be worse though since it won't benefit from the holidays.

Famitsu is the superior tracker just for delivering us from all that monster hunter talk. Jesus.

Pretty nice that even PS4 software saw an increase this week, wasn't expecting that until week 1.

Scratch that, I read the thing wrong D: But it is of note that Sumikko Gurashi Switch managed to hang on while the 3DS game fell off the chart.

The Yamada Denki in Kobe was sold out of Switch hardware which wasn't too surprising, but I did notice that a lot of Switch software was sold out which is definitely something I hadn't seen before. Fifa, Dynasty Warriors, Xenoverse 2, DQX and some other things I cant remember off the top of were all sold out.

Then dropped by the massive Yodobashi in Osaka after work, and the Switch section had been picked bone dry. Everything (except Xenoblade 2) was either sold out or nearly sold out. Even Mario Odyssey and Splatoon 2 were almost completely gone. DL cards were still left tho but for physical copies of Switch games it was a wasteland. Pro controllers, cases and all the other accessories were also wiped out.

Over 100 points lead on MHXX, that is mighty impressive. with the another beta and special edition PS4 bundle i think it has a chance of a very impressive launch.
