What is it with trailers somehow finding the most horrible song to use?

OH SNAP OH SNAP OH SNAP!

Definitely a "Wait for Netflix" movie for me.

This and the Hellboy trailer didn' t do much for me. Maybe the next ones will be a step up.

I'm interested, but this trailer didn't do much for me but confirm what we already knew: that Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are both fine as fuck.

Men In Black isn't some sacred cow for me, though. The first one was the only good one IMO, the second and third movies both being trash. Bringing back Tommy Lee Jones was the worst idea given how well his exit was done in the first movie, so I'm happy to see some fresh faces.

Also, hearing Liam Neeson's voice just made me think XCom.

I think at this point I'll watch anything Tessa Thompson is in, and to a lesser extent Hemsworth as well.

I was never much of a fan of the originals and it looks like more of the same but I like this cast a lot more so maybe it'll be good.

Not a fan of Tessa Thompson basically playing Agent J in the duo. Should have just let her and Chris Hemsworth both be "established" Agents. Otherwise not a bad trailer, but not great either.

Loved the MIB1 shoutout. Was there a comic storyline involving a giant hair monster in Paris?

I just want to say that Emma Thompson is looking fantastic since she borrowed David Lynch’s hair.

MIB3 was good, clean fun and miles ahead of MIB2, and the cast looks super promising. I'm in so long as reviews don't suck.

The humour looks terrible. Look at this guy sleeping at work. LMAO now he's saying he was just meditating. What do you know he's just a wacky ass fella who eats lunch at 9.30.

Not a whole lot of effort there.

I liked the original MIB movies solely because of the chemistry between Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith. This new movie looks like complete trash tbh.

I'm probably just going to have this playing the background when I'm doing other errands in my house one day.
Enjoyed the previous movies, but never a real fan of the franchise.

Looks super average. Trying way too hard with the poorly concealed references to the original films, nothing clever about them just jarring "hey, remember the first film where we did this?!" sequences. Also, I feel like Tessa Thompson is very overrated as an actress - she was awful in Westworld Season 2.
All of this are things I agree with.

TIL people other than Jones and Smith can't have "chemistry".

Trailer looked good, casting's great, I'm in.

edit and there's the Era Hip Hop "shitty music" take lol :D
Not in MIB no. It's like making a new Rush Hour movie without Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, or a new Bad Boys movie without Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. If the actors who made it what it is are still alive and healthy and aren't willing to be in it then don't even make it. But of course Hollywood will because it's an easy cash grab.

Terrible and boring.

And an absurd amount of random "look at Chris Hemsworth looking hot" shots.

I feel old as fuck when i see this and scream at my screen 'WHY, WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!?'

Will Smith & Tommy Lee Jones is what i need. Not f'ing Liam Neeson
Men in Black is a global organization, it would be the stupidest thing imaginable to limit the movies to those two characters, which is literally why there have only been 3 of them until now. MIB doesn't need to have the shit that killed Ghostbusters happen to it too, it works perfectly fine in other locations with other agents.

Looks decent enough.
I would have preferred the 21 Jump Street duo but Hemsworth and Thompson are pretty funny in their own right.
And I never liked the originals anyway. The cartoon is the only good version as far as I'm concerned.
For me, it goes MIB -> MIB: The Animated Series -> MIB 3. There is no MIB 2 and the series nullifies it anyway, fitting perfectly between the first and third movies. But for as much as I like MIB/3, I do agree the series is the best take on the property.

That looks like MIB 4 with a new cast.
Well, I mean, that's literally what this is. "Soft reboot" as they call it, still in the same continuity as the first three but new cast new story. Agreed that it looks fun and silly, hopefully it's better than 2!

I will remain optimistic.

Love the cast, like they fucking nailed out of the park on that front.

I don't think the trailer is that great but it's hard to sell people without giving away "all the best parts" so I'm torn.

Hate the choice song, absolute trash.

But yeah while the trailer didn't super convince me, I love some bits and I believe in it.
