What is it with trailers somehow finding the most horrible song to use?

You’d think these people would try for the smallest amount of plausible deniability here, but I suppose that’s too difficult.Yeah? I wonder why you don’t like her...

TIL people other than Jones and Smith can't have "chemistry".I liked the original MIB movies solely because of the chemistry between Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith. This new movie looks like complete trash tbh.
All of this are things I agree with.Looks super average. Trying way too hard with the poorly concealed references to the original films, nothing clever about them just jarring "hey, remember the first film where we did this?!" sequences. Also, I feel like Tessa Thompson is very overrated as an actress - she was awful in Westworld Season 2.
Not in MIB no. It's like making a new Rush Hour movie without Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, or a new Bad Boys movie without Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. If the actors who made it what it is are still alive and healthy and aren't willing to be in it then don't even make it. But of course Hollywood will because it's an easy cash grab.TIL people other than Jones and Smith can't have "chemistry".
Trailer looked good, casting's great, I'm in.
edit and there's the Era Hip Hop "shitty music" take lol :D
Men in Black is a global organization, it would be the stupidest thing imaginable to limit the movies to those two characters, which is literally why there have only been 3 of them until now. MIB doesn't need to have the shit that killed Ghostbusters happen to it too, it works perfectly fine in other locations with other agents.I feel old as fuck when i see this and scream at my screen 'WHY, WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!?'
Will Smith & Tommy Lee Jones is what i need. Not f'ing Liam Neeson
For me, it goes MIB -> MIB: The Animated Series -> MIB 3. There is no MIB 2 and the series nullifies it anyway, fitting perfectly between the first and third movies. But for as much as I like MIB/3, I do agree the series is the best take on the property.Looks decent enough.
I would have preferred the 21 Jump Street duo but Hemsworth and Thompson are pretty funny in their own right.
And I never liked the originals anyway. The cartoon is the only good version as far as I'm concerned.
Well, I mean, that's literally what this is. "Soft reboot" as they call it, still in the same continuity as the first three but new cast new story. Agreed that it looks fun and silly, hopefully it's better than 2!
