Holy shit, this is amazing.

This guy should do one for MGS2 with Snake on the bridge.

That was extremely well done. Every time I see one of these I just can't help feeling sad at the thought that we will probably never see a true remake for current gen consoles.

It's elaborate but pretty meh, it misses a lot of the weight this cutscene had, especially because of the image being too clean

Sadly metal gear solid is still owned by Konami :( this would be a awesome remake.

That or a full on remake of metal gear 1 and 2 and just call those 6 and 7.

Awesome trailer btw!

Metal Gear Solid logo in the thumbnail but they use the twin snakes logo at the end?

That was exceptional.

Konami really should just remake the MGS's rather than try and fail to continue the series.

It's nice and all, technically proficient, but what a boring scene.

NOW WE'RE TALKIN'.

No matter the time in my life, this opening gives me goosebumps every single time.

I thought it would be a Metal Gear Solid 2018 Remake - Intro
:(

Looks beautiful. And yeah, it kinda hurts, too.

Though who knows what the future will bring for Konami and the Metal Gear franchise. Maybe love for the medium will return to the company one day. Or they go belly-up and someone sensible snags the rights of their IP.

So...is Twin Snakes worth playing by the way?

This reminded me that this exists. I love MGS1 with a healthy dose of ultra-nostalgia attached, wondering how Twin Snakes would hold up as a remake these days.
