Will hold out for reviews. I have zero faith in Konami when it comes to this kind of thing anymore, and I fully expect comic sans somewhere, or some equivalent foul-up.

Anything odd with this and I'm just setting up emulation for all these games, (all of which I own original physical copies for)

I know that I want this on switch for the portability, but I still can't decide if I want physical or not :\
I already own all the originals and also the legacy collection on ps3, but considering that I sort of collect the games maybe I want it physically?
BUT apparently the physical version doesn't have any of the games on the cart (does it have at least the bonus content able to be view without a download?)

Also I kind of went largely digital on switch anyway, and it would be neat to have 3 of my favourite games ever installed and ready to go whenever....

60? Jeez. Imma wait for a sale.

Also the fact that Ninja Gaiden also had a collection with the word Master that also lacked KB&M support is hilarious

I think the cart will only act as like the launchers if this is accurate...

This is something I would have liked to play on kb&m. Guess the console version will do

I wonder if they are going to remove Kojima from the credits 🤔

Yeah, I badly want this collection but I need to wait and see what the state of things is. Especially with this pricing.

Please don’t ruin this, Konami.

I don't have much hope that Konami will do this justice and I still have the PS3 collection (and a working PS3), so I think I'm just going to stick with that. There's no reason for me to get this one, is there?

I know we live in a different time but it's crazy to me that I remember paying around 40BRL for a sealed copy of MGS Legacy Collection for the PS3 10 years ago, and that one included MGS4 and Peace Walker HD.
Yeah... I remember paying around that (60-40BRL) too. Now is 300BRL for one part of the collection that is exclusively digital on Steam. Stings.

I haven't played any MGS since the PS2 days, but I beat 2 and 3 about 10 times each. Interested to go back and hopefully catch up for Vol 2.

with that price.. hard pass konami, i'll wait for like a 75% off and to see if it works flawless on the deck.

i got the x360's collection last year for £12 (to replay peace walker) and it works amazing in the X.

I'm a wait and see on this one. I really hope it works out but it depends on how seriously Konami is taking this.

The pc ports of 1 and 2 are mediocre and require (tbf easy to install) patches to play well. Modern versions of the games will be a lot better. Seriously tho has anyone actually tried the mouse and keyboard support of 2? Not great and you aren't missing much!

I likely won't be able to resist once the MGS2 subsistence-style camera mod is ported to this version's MGS2. Hope they are decent ports.

£50 is a bit rich for me considering we already have MGS2 & MGS3 HD on Xbox.

Basically paying £50 for MGS1 which is £7.19 full price on GOG.

Modern Konami lol

The pricing to me is pretty steep, but 66 francs isn't the worst price ive seen for a remaster collection recently

Lack of KB+M is astonishing though

Yeah. I already own hd collection for ps3 and original releases of everything. 60€ is a bit too much for me too.

I don’t think it’s too expensive and if performance is good then I’m there practically day one just for the excuse to Platinum MGS2/3 again. Otherwise I’ll probably avoid it entirely.

The games will be sold separately, so you can buy MGS1only if you want, it's going to be the PS1 emulated version tho, not the OG PC port that you can find on GOG.

$80 CAD? I'm really only interested in MGS1, so I hope they unbundle the games sooner, rather than later.

Will definitely be waiting for a price drop on this, but I really do hope it’s a competent port. Just having these in my library for posterity running at a clean 4K (MGS2 and 3 at least) would be a lovely thing. I’m sure Konami will find some way to make a pig’s ear of it, but I’ll hope nonetheless.

Looks like I need to go back up to the store and do another preorder. October is going to be another busy month, it seems.
