To me, that's what makes Halo stand out from the rest of the FPS out there. The ending to Halo 4 alone, as a long time fan, was powerful.I don't really think any of the Halo campaigns qualify as a 10/10 single player experience.

It would've had exactly the same development cycle like every Forza Horizon game released so far. Just saying.Yes, you're crazy. Forza Horizon won't a launch title for next generation.
Forza Horizon needs some break as well and ForzaTech is 'coughing' already in some parts of Forza Horizon 4. Better launch for that game will be one year after new Xbox debut than on day-one. Circuit based racing game like Forza Motorsport doesn't need so much work as open-world. It's not only about cycle of development now.It would've had exactly the same development cycle like every Forza Horizon game released so far. Just saying.
They will give either FH or FM a break. One will be a launch title - I would bet on that. And I would be surprised if this launch title wouldn't be Forza Horizon. Easy system seller.
They'll have much more power to work with including a vastly improved CPU. I'm sure they'll come up with something good.I'm really curious to see what Playground can do to step it up even again for Horizon 5...
I'm honestly struggling to even hypothetically come up with something.
To be honest I thought the same after FH3. Then they released FH4.I'm really curious to see what Playground can do to step it up even again for Horizon 5...

More power didn't necessarily mean different or better, just prettier...They'll have much more power to work with. I'm sure they'll come up with something good.

Not when the CPU is going to be vastly improved over what current-gen consoles have. Enough to have a significant presence in gameplay mechanics.More power didn't necessarily mean different or better, just prettier...
I would like to see Latin America in next Horizon Festival, than some whatever Japanese style.

What if FH5 brought all the FH1-4 together in a single world map?
Now we're talkingHuge traffics, better dynamic weather, real time seasons transitions :o
They're waiting for consoles to support ray-tracing to do this.
Not 5 for sure. But somewhere in far future? Who knows. Maybe as a last game in the series for next-gen.What if FH5 brought all the FH1-4 together in a single world map?
Nice fanmade pics.
I'm after two seasons of Narcos and I'd like to see Colombia as well there! :D
If yes, they had to be done before Forza Motorsport 5, when Forza franchise used to have that old verision of logo

For me it's still some fanmade pics from some guy who loves Japan style of racing. We don't know when, but they saw this Concept Art saw the light some time before FH4 was revealed. And not necessarily, the logo is just a detail on the balloon and, as an ex-concept artist, I would suggest he probably just picked the first logo he found on Google and copy pasted it as a small artistic detail.
It could have been for any Forza game though, but we know they explored the location, so we might see something similar in the future.

Next-gen will be more powerful, so it should be capable to handle much bigger map with cut-offs from these countries. We already saw a few kind of nature in one map (Forza Horizon 3) - jungle, desert, beaches, cities, etc., so we can have one kind which could very developed with lot of details.
I thought that balloon thing was somebody just poking fun.I haven't read through every page/post and not sure where we're at with speculation of the "rhymes with balloon" studio, but I watched a documentary today about the Halo fan project Installation 01 (Gameumentary Youtube) and the studio that's making the game is called "Soon Studios".
Call me crazy, but I think FH5 will be a launch title for Scarlett and FM8 will be the year after, 2021. They need to rebuild the framework for FM while FH is really stable and has a great foundation.
I think Forza 8 will launch with the next Xbox in November 2020. I'm hoping Forza Horizon takes a breather and launches in early 2022.
Anyone think we will get Game Pass being officially announced for PC at CES and tied with their new streaming service?
Went off topic there.
Regards to Forza.
I think MS introduce a new line in the series, say Forza Rally or Kart
PG are really efficient, and I don't think Fable will take as long as people think.
I'm expecting Fable to follow the same trajectory as Horizon.
For example, I think the first game won't be fully open world, more say contained in one big location, the heros guild
The first game focus more on an introduction, the base gameplay features.
And then with each instalment more is added.
Forza Motorsport is MS best game.Do we really need a new Forza fucking Motorsport?
Just do something new ffs.

there Star Wars VR game is episodic. planned to start this year for Rift.I wonder if Ninja Theory would ever consider doing an episodic project.
Yes.
For years for next Forza Horizon? That's UNREAL.Reverse, Fable 2021, FH 5 2022. That's what I would like to see. Halo Infinite and Forza 8 in 2020.
I've always wondered if Microsoft is lining up Halo: Infinite, Gears: Tactics, and Forza to all launch together with Scarlett.
