Reporting from STL. Thankfully when it does arrive here, the brunt will be seen on Saturday and not the traditional work week. Hopefully it's not too much of an ice event, though.

Looking like <1 inch except in a narrow band. My car seals froze when it was like 20 degrees, so I hope that doesn't happen again.

Uh I don't seem to remember January snow being all that out of the ordinary, even 6 inches, is this actually going to be something noteworthy?

My area got upgraded to 5-7 inches. Whelp. Although last time that was supposed to happen, it was more like 2-3 inches.

Ok made it to Sam's, got supplies so we can survive the weekend.

On a funny note, I got a call from a customer that lives near Wippipeg and had to tell them I was going for supplies before our 6 inches of show hits. They were amused.

I lived in St. Louis for 15 months and, thankfully, this sort of thing didn't happen when I was there, though we did have like 10 straight days below freezing or something at one point. I'm in Florida now, which is great during the winter.

In KC here. Hoping we miss the worst of it, although it looks like Monster Jam will be out. My kid will be pissed.

Yeah, they upgraded my area up to 6-9 inches of snow. If this underperforms, I'm going to be super disappointed to have back to back blizzards turn out to be not much (aside from the wind).

Snow won't stop until Saturday night with a foot possible. Just 9 inches would eclipse the snowfall we had all of last season.
The MODOT road and traffic map in St. Louis County is essentially all red with just a multitude of issues and shutdowns. Hope everyone can make it home safely if you're not already.

Out far west of STL and people saying it took them 3 hours to get home when it's normally 20 minutes.

Fucking sucks because I'm supposed to be working all weekend and it gets infinitely harder to get to my workplace during weather like this since I don't have a car.
