Realmuto is worth more than Syndergaard.
It's not because he is better it's because there are a lot more pitching options than catching options.
Yeah I know. But still seems like a lot to ask. But when you have catching shortage I guess your value shoots up.
I personally wouldn't want to trade Syndergaard or Bellinger for Realmuto straight up simply because I value the extra team control more, but those 3 are all fairly comparable.
Good to see Carlos coming back, and hopefully Bauers develops into something. I liked EE but he was a total non-factor in the postseason the last two years (1 for 17, 7 k's). Well, the Indians as a whole were this year, but I digress.
Relievers are a prime comodity now. Especially ones who were as lights out as he was during the stretch and in the WS.

that being said the white sox gave up basically nothing for him, as Alex Call is not anyone that matters at all. And he isn't a horrible player, so they might be able to move him for something better than Alex Call at the trade deadline.

The Cards honestly should just cut bait with Fowler at this point. I do believe he's going to have a great bounceback season, he's made some comments that he was depressed last year due to the manager (not surprising), not feeling like he's really fitting in to the clubhouse, among other things.

If our SPs perform and stay healthy, maybe. Rotation with DeGawd, Thor, Wheeler and Matz is pretty solid.But the Braves, Nats and Phil's are solid teams. It's going to be hard to get into the playoffs but the moves have been solid so far

Makes him the highest paid person in MLB and Sports. While also letting him hit the market at 29. I don't expect him to sign a massive 10 year deal. I expect 5 years tops with whomever he signs with.

Honestly, hiring someone that spent his career trying to understand players and what makes them marketable sounds like the perfect person to decide what players, attributes, personalities, etc will make the Mets better
He can have both, a long term deal with a couple opt outs.
But I like when the Mets are shitty and I can get cheap tickets. :(
