Who said this?I love the idea that a player's career is "wasted" for every second they are not on the New York Yankees.

Some chodes online are saying it. Almost everyone else is mocking those same chodes (who bought the idea NY was totally getting him/Arenado, which is why they didn't go for Harper/Machado).
I mean, they've tried. I don't think Arte thought the Hamilton/Pujols/Wilson deals would've blown up as badly as they did.
can't wait to hit the snooze button on the alarm clock.
He's damn good so not shocked.Wow. ESPN and MLB.com reporting Astros sign Bregman for five or six years for 100 million.
An amazing deal for the Astros if true. Lock down during his prime, he should be a top ten mvp candidate putting up 25+ war during that stretch.

I'm pretty sure contracts start when they are signed and wouldn't matter towards play time o.O
I actually could still see him starting in the minors for a few reasons.I imagine he will be in the lineup on opening day. The only reason he was going to start in the minors was to manipulate his service time. That goes out the window with the contract.
lol no you don't pay a guy 42,000,000 to ride the pine or the minor league busI actually could still see him starting in the minors for a few reasons.
A. to save face so it doesn't look like it was the only reason he was going to start in the minors.
B. he was in fact hitting .140 in the spring, so give him a little time to get his swing working on easier pitchers.
we will see, I still wouldn't be surprised if they didn't call him up until the mid of April.lol no you don't pay a guy 42,000,000 to ride the pine or the minor league bus
you do if his name is Kenshin Kawakami. The braves stashed him in AA to get him to go back to Japan.lol no you don't pay a guy 42,000,000 to ride the pine or the minor league bus
