Mariners still leading the league. Don't think we've been in first this long in forever.

Can’t wait for another year of the Cardinals getting my hopes up in July and August only to collapse in September. At least I get to watch Goldy slug it all year.

Baseball! I'm sure the Royals will be interesting, even in how bad they will probably be. At least there are some players to watch on the team to get excited over, even with the loss of Salvy. Let's go!

on the plus side, either the Royals or the White Sox will be undefeated for at least 1 game. It's a glimmer of hope for the future of two terrible teams :P

so... instead of long term predictions how about short term ones.

Who is going to be the first team(s) to pass the best in baseball mariners?

who is going to be the first team(s) to fall behind the worst in baseball athletics?

:P

Not unless one of the teams sweeps the other. :P But yeah, I'll just hope the young core at A ball works out and the Royals get back to the postseason quicker than last time.

hmmm nah.
after the first game one of the teams will be 1-0 and the other 0-1 meaning they will be undefeated to start the season :P

personally I like the odds of the white sox getting back to form before the royals, but they have also been at this rebuild thing a bit longer

Yeah, I know what you mean and the Sox definitely have a better timeline for getting back than Royals for obvious reasons. It doesn't help Moore doesn't want to call this a rebuild and do a full teardown. :P

Happy New Year, y'all.

A reminder that your hot dog needs BBQ sauce and mustard, or mustard and onions/relish, to be correct.

AL MVP - Judge
AL Cy Young - Sale
AL RoY - Vlad Jr

NL MVP - Arenado
NL Cy Young - DeGrom
NL RoY - Tatis Jr

AL East - Yankees
AL Central - Indians
AL West - Astros
AL WC1 - Red Sux
AL WC2 - Rays

NL East - Nationals
NL Central - Brewers
NL West - Dodgers
NL WC1 - Cubs
NL WC2 - Phillies

WS - Yankees/Dodgers

The Dodgers become the Buffalo Bills, and lose the World Series once again, allowing the mighty Yankees to gain their 28th title behind a biblical season from Aaron Thanos Judge.

Looking forward to lazy afternoons of drinking Tank 7 and watching the Royals lose. Hopefully we get back to winning ways soon!
