this seems pretty good.

Those are some pretty ridiculous numbers having not played 2+ months of the season.

This seems like one of the most ridiculously stacked seasons for Rookie position players. I didn't expect Bryan Reynolds to be having anything close to the season he's having.

In other news, if the MLB ever reverts back to non-juiced balls, how many players who've had breakout seasons over the last few years are going plummet in productivity? I'd be weary of the recent crops of players with mediocre to average batting averages, above average strikeout rates, and significant number of home runs.

Schoop hits his 20th home run, now 7 Twins have 20+
Polanco has 19. about to set the record for most players with 20+
just a precursor to the overall HR record that they are going to destroy

Rest of the Angels' season needs to spent prepping for next year, gonna root for the Twins in the postseason. Not sure which NL team to cheer on if the Mets and Diamondbacks don't make the cut.

Twins set HR road record with their 139th (and 140th on back to back jacks). Total record incoming shortly!

that would take a big swing (pun intended).
heading into today, Yanks were only 8 HR behind, but with 3 more games played. Twins have hit 3 so far today :)
Yankees crushed the MLB record for homeruns hit in a month with 70 this month and there's still two more games to play. Judge in particular has found his hr stroke again which obviously helps.

I do find it funny that both teams are going to destroy the record that the Yankees set just last year.

Syndergaard and deGrom may want to look up what it means to be a "Stopper" as they both gave the Mets putrid performances the last couple nights. Pathetic.

Boy, has Hyun Jin Ryu fallen off a cliff lately.

Orange County Register said:
After his first start this month, Ryu had an ERA of 1.45, almost a run better than any other starting pitcher in baseball. He had allowed more than two runs in a start just once. His WHIP was 0.91 and opposing batters had hit just .221 against him.

Over starts at Atlanta, at home against the Yankees and in Arizona, Ryu has given up 18 runs in just 14-2/3 innings – an ERA of 11.05 that has fattened his season mark by nearly a run to 2.35 (bringing Max Scherzer, Mike Soroka and Jacob deGrom back into the Cy Young picture), the highest it has been since before his May 7 start. His WHIP in those three starts is 1.91 and opposing batters have hit a robust .368 (25 for 68). Ryu hasn't gotten through five innings in each of his past two starts.

ouch

Castellanos is fucking amazing. He reminds me of Cespedes for the Mets in 15/ JD Martinez in 2017 for the DBacks. Cubs better resign him.

Another injury. Just end this season already, please. Give the Wild Card spots to the Athletics and Rays, and let us regroup for next year.

deGrom was fine, our collective BABIP luck that game plus our defense was what was frustrating, the Baez and Bryant singles before the second Caratini HR had like less that 50 percent hit probability IIRC.
