Holy smokes JD Davis hit a monster shot at PNC Park, almost on top of the rotunda in LF. Davis has been a nice bright spot for the Mets this season. Looks like a 25-30 HR and .280+ AVG type hitter over a full season worth of ABs, definitely a keeper in some capacity (3B, LF, utility role).
Nope. Hicks goes to IL and the corresponding roster move is reinstating Happ from paternity leave. They will carry 13 pitchers and 3 bench players. Ford, Valera, and Higi.

Torres has a core issue and is on his way to the hospital for tests. I would be surprised if he doesn't end up on the IL.
Yankees are just not going to be allowed to field their complete lineup without compromise or injury until fucking September, huh.

That's even underselling it since Judge and Didi missed *checks notes* 119 games total on the IL and Severino would have been the opening day starter. We really have never seen anything like this in baseball.
