I think he's injured and just not telling anybody. But you might be right. It might be fatigue.. We certainly have the pitchers for so why not give him an extra day's rest heck even a whole week off.

That's was an absolutely nuts throw by Eddie. Tons of amazing twins defensive plays in that game. They looking ready for the playoffs. This ain't your typical twins playoff team. They ain't scared of nobody.
Yankees series earlier this year could have gone either way and they've been very good against the stros.
Wish they would have traded Buxton for an ace honesty but our pen right now is fucking rocking it.
They should give berrios 7 days and rework his mechanics. He's in his own head right now. Get him sorted and Pineda, odo, and Perez are all looking pretty good right now.
And yes, it's the best lineup in baseball.

What does Edwin Diaz need to do to get benched. How much damage can one person do. I can't take this anymore.
After everything that's happened with the Mets they continue to put Diaz in these spots.
Get creative, instead of Diaz when Lugo's unavailable use whoever's side throw day it is from the rotation for an inning if needed. It's a much better option than Diaz at this point. It's desperation, really.

Use anyone. Put a position player in there. Diaz is shot. 100mph down the middle is nothing in today's game. He can't play in New York. Cut your loses.
The home/road splits with him are night and day. Yanks cannot start him on the road in the postseason.

You're not getting a 4+ WAR CF in his 20's for 10 million a year if he didn't have an injury history. This kind of stuff was already baked into the contract.

Oh hey Tim Anderson finally got enough plat appearances to be in the running for the batting title (barely right now. He can't really sit out more than like 2 games for the rest of the season without risking falling out of the running again lol)
