I own like 20 games of the list so that is indeed great. Here's the full list if anyone's interested:

I rather enjoy it as well. The only annoying thing is that I cannot seem to disable auto sprint.I thought I might never say this but I confess I'm immensely enjoying Call of Duty on iPhone X with Xbox controller.
Once you get past the terribad freemium UI there is a really addicting game buried underneath.
So much I now really wish for a great sci-fi FPS on iOS (not free to play), without having to wait for xCloud to happen and deliver.

also downloaded that Destiny-esque game and will try it with the Xbox controller.
I'd wager it's Shadowgun Legends. It's rather generic and got quite boring for me sadly.
campbell's GOTY list is up and I pretty much agree with the whole list. Number 1 surprised me, I really should get around to playing it.

Picked up Xenowerks Tactics based on this list.campbell's GOTY list is up and I pretty much agree with the whole list. Number 1 surprised me, I really should get around to playing it.
Thanks for posting. For some reason CheapCharts hasn't picked up some of these recent price drops. Got this and Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 for £1.99 each and Journey for £2.99Donut County is 2.29€.
Hmm. The few on that list I played I really enjoyed (Gris, Pipe Push Paradise). So I may need to look in to some of the others. I've seen a few places mention Astrologaster now.Appunwrapper' GOTY list is up. And just an FYI, she's more into adventure and puzzle games than action or difficult strategy games so her list is pretty unique.

holy molyICYMI There's a port of GameCube/Wii Emulator Dolphin underway on iOS and it's running games like Super Mario Galaxy almost flawlessly on the latest devices with MFi controller support and motion controls:
(Jailbreak Required for now)
-Battleheart 2
anyone play chrono trigger on an iphone x or 11? is it full screen?
Mine:Do we do GOTY recommendations this year?
These are my personal best of the year (overall a glorious year).
Plain AppStore
Shards of Infinity
Dead Cells
GRIS
Alien Blackout
Apple Arcade
Shinsekai
Overland
Grindstone
Inmost
Honorable mentions: too many!!!
Didn't think it was but just redownloaded it and apparently it was updated two months ago with iPhone X support. But it's just borders. Still nice that it is!
nice, thank you! it's on sale for $5 and i didn't want it to get it if it was a 'small screen' app you get without proper X support
Again just to set expectations, it is just borders around the original screen. That said, the joystick responds on those borders as well so it's not just superficial.
We need someone who creates it though. I actually would prefer monthly threads. But it's 12 times the work I guess.
I'm creating the 2020 thread. I don't really believe these threads are active enough to justify monthly threads tbh.We need someone who creates it though. I actually would prefer monthly threads. But it's 12 times the work I guess.
Maybe they are not active enough but it is really convenient to browse through the monthly threads to recall which games polarized in which months. For me monthly threads were like a compendium I could take a look in when I was looking for something. That is a bit hard to do in a yearly thread.I'm creating the 2020 thread. Thinking about picking up Astrologaster on iphone after seeing positive feedback from the GB crew. Does anyone know how it plays on iOS?
Thanks for the advice. Will pick it up later. It's made to be played on touch and is an amazing ios game. Go for it.
Not sure if anyone still playes this or if there is a 2020 thread. But I just learned of this one and it's a ton of fun so far. I'm at ZZ36B-7GFJL.Oh wow. I dunno if any of you guys remember it, but Seabeard has been revived the last few weeks with a major graphical touchup and now a balance patch for QoL changes. It was a fun concept sort of like Animal Crossing and seeing it being revived is such a great thing considering its been mostly abandoned for almost 2 years.
