Never played the Legends of Andor board game. Is the tutorial good?
Yes the tutorial is good (it tells you the basic rules but the help pops up in further legends because there can be many special rules or items) but the game is pretty 'simple' (perfect for digital). The complexity kicks in later on because all the various simple things are pretty complex considered all together.
You basically move you heroes on a (gorgeous map) to do quests (from fetching an item to escort a prince back to the castle).
Every action takes time and you can do so many actions during a day.
Legends are failed if you don't do the quests whitin certain days so you have to carefully consider what to do in which order.
One thing you will learn fast is that you don't have to fight every monster, because it takes on day and it consumes your precious time.
BUT monsters move at the end of the day...maybe blocking important routes etc...
Here you can have an idea of how the game plays, even if the player doesn't seem to understand exactly what to do or use the archer dice.

There are 12 legends to play plus tutorial.the legends tells a different story arc than the boardgame (same and consistent setting of course).
I'm still at third, mind you....failed it a ton at normal difficulty....trying all sort of different strategies but they always destroy my castle before I manage to kill the siege troll.
The gameplay is exactly as the boardgame, as far as I can tell (they tweaked the dwarf warrior special ability but I don't remember well).
Story and quests are always the same; elements of variability are random dice of course and fog (placing of things inside fog is random).
UI is excellent.
It's crashy on iPad Air (dev told me a patch is in the works for next week) but plays wonderfully on iPhone X (no sync tough).
Tell me if you need more!!!
This looks pretty cool. Anyone try it?

Did you ever try Silent Abyss Pitta ? Still hooked on that one. Decided to hold off on Legends of Andor for now. Got too much on my plate.
MFi controller support is finally available on Fortnite. Combined with the 60fps update a few weeks ago, this is great:

Some people just see it as a FNAF clone and nothing more even though it's much better than FNAF imo.A little over 7 hours later and a million screaming deaths, I finally completed Alien blackout with everyone alive.
IT WAS GLORIOUS.
I really don't get the hate, imho the game is fantastic, perfect for touch screens (you really have that tactile feel of 80 sci-fi) and one of the best movie tie in since years, I really felt Ripley.
AI is pretty great, awesome graphics and beyond glorious sounds.
Despite having completed it twice...I've already started a new playthrough.
This deserves its own announcement thread, IMO. More people need to play it, and even the most mobile-ambivalent could find something to love about its newest platform version.
Realm grinder is the best I've played. Don't want to give any spoilers, but once you prestige enough and unlock A certain faction the game really opens up to new possibilities.
That review makes this game sound really good and full of content. Polished as well to a degree. I might have to pick this up on my phone. This review of Frontiers just sold me on it:

Also guys dont miss on BackFire the best game that i played since Wonder Blade
Yeah, told everyone this pages ago when it first came out. Glad people are finding out about it now.
I'm pretty much done with Eggs Inc, so I've been looking for new idle/clicker games. Idler Miner is kinda nice, but sadly, it's littered with prompts to buy IAPs, watch ads, invite friends, connect the game with Facebook/Instagram and so on. Fuck that.
JackQuest is out on iOS at the end of Feb. Anyone play it on another platform yet?
