Gotcha. I was hoping for a QoL patch to fix the last few pieces of problematic gear for several characters. That might not be for another week or two closer to Sindel I guess.
It's always weird how these seem to overlap with a new character.
Cetrion is the top tier skin. Kano the middle. Kabal the bottom.
I'm really lucking out for these leagues. None of my faves have been top and I never could be bothered getting that high.

I don't understand this. Like we know what date she hits. Unless they're moving it up, but for some reason I doubt that.

Okay, I just read Sindel's bio and I'm enraged. This is not Sindel. Sindel is supposed to be a tragic character, not a backstabbing traitor. WTH Netherrealm?
And Sub-Zero and Scorpion are supposed to be eternal enemies, and now their brotherhood is my favorite thing from the franchise. Let them try something new with this timeline, Nightwolf new backstory worked well for me.
MK3 and Deception will always be there for tragic Sindel, and if it doesn't work, there's a reboot coming anyway.
Dag. What's a good price if I'm only interested in story mode? I've had 9 and X in my backlog after grabbing them for $5 each. Had fun going through their stories on easy earlier this year after getting caught up in the 11 hype. I'd like to go through 11s as well.
I can't really say honestly. If you'll do a lot of single player, than that's a diffrent question, but I wouldn't spend more than a rental if only playing through story and moving on.
Fellow gear kollectors, can you check if you have a Lance for Shao Kahn called "Emperor Dar Kahn's Lance"?
It's the only AI Battle reward I'm missing, I don't know if I'm unlucky or if it's a bug. If no one have it, I'll try again for it after Sindel's patch.

I have all of his gear. The drop rate for rewards slows down a ton for the last few things you need from AI battles. I had all the AI battle drops before the last two DLC characters, and their last few pieces took a lot of battles.
I really hope they expand this to other characters too. Different coloured effects is something I always loved, a shame Cetrion's the only one that has a lot of them in this game.

Shao Kahn I'm only missing that AI spear, and for Frost, Johnny Cage, Sonya, Cassie, Noob, Baraka, Jacqui, Kano, Kabal, Kitana, Jade, Scarlet, Erron Black, Kollector and Cetrion I have everything, yey.
It was pretty annoying, but for the first time ever, it paired me with only one teammate. It waited the 80 seconds or whatever, and it was just two of us.
I think this made it a lot easier as there wasn't a third wheel wasting lives or whatever.
but yeah, I liked the Sub-Zero one last time.
Lookit all that hair. If Sindel actually uses her hair to strike people akin to a character like Shantae or Millia from GG, then that'll be a tremendous upgrade.
I don't have time to check it all, but it looks similar to mine in that a number of things that say "Found in Towers of Time" don't drop yet. Also the "Found in Normal Krypt Chests" ones are glitched and which items those are differ for people. NRS was made aware of it after the last patch and I'm hoping it gets addressed in the upcoming one. Maybe one day the Krypt and gear stuff won't be bugged in some way.
I knew it was too good to be true. But I guess she'd kind of have the same vibe as Cetrion then.
Super keen to see how she moves and plays and if they've changed her up much.
I just got a 1 GB update on Steam and according to this, it seems its adding support for DX12 and updated the balance to match the PS4/X1 version.

Geras would've made a good mummy, but a lot of his schtick is literally being a dude constantly stitched back together, while Cetrion's mummy skin looks more Aztec in design (like Kotal), so it's not entirely out of left-field.
But the lack of Vampire Skarlet is the real oversight.
Geras has too much sand flying around on screen for him to be anything but a mummy in my mind and I'm sticking to it! He's not physically stitched and bolted together with miscellaneous parts like a Frankenstein monster. All his transformations are sand-based. The only Frankenstein like thing is he's big. Look at all the sand manipulation and transformations in his intros and outros. Him not being a mummy is absloute madness I tell you! NRS was smoking something when they made this choice. if I played Gears I'd be even more irritated. Monster/Hallowen costumes are serious business!!!
Maybe Skarlet wastes too much blood to be a vampire. They wanna drink it, not waste it on attacks. I can kinda see that.
Oh, c'mon, I'm sure Skarlet would've rocked a Carmilla costume.
But, yeah, Geras as a Mummy would've made sense.
