i play kitana and frost, and with kitana matches go like, 50% easier than with frost. just due to options she has available that frost does not

Yep. The lists are basically useless to the overwhelming majority of the playerbase. They matter to the small subset of players that are playing the game at the highest possible level at the time. They aren't generating these lists with people who just pick scorpion or sub just wanna play the game by spamming slide and ice ball all day. They're developed with the idea that the subset of players they're pulling data from are using all known available tools and strategies with their respective characters. In other words, not scrubs like myself. Its just probability based on data at the end of the day and player ability dramatically outweighs that.
I googled a Max :O face to post but got annoyed with myself while doing it.
I keep thinking that I need to stop checking the Towers of Time. Then of course a tower with a brutality I don't have (Kotal Khan) comes up at 2am. Feeding the habit lol

All the towers in the Sonya+Johnny challenge gives you gear if you do them on brutal, but Kitana's fight that only gives augments.
Sooo I've been grinding and finally crafted Shinocks amulet, got into the Kytinn Hive and...seriously? There's bugger all here. A few chests and a scorpion lantern. Seem like a pretty lackluster end to the kyrpt am I missing something?

Don't let it get to you. It's just videogames. If someone gets salty and wants to take their ball and go home, so be it, you know? I've been pretty lucky with randoms so far though. At least, I haven't felt dick-vibes penetrating the chillness of my living room.
I'm excited by the prospect of a sweet patch, but don't be afraid to go nuts in the Krypt as is. I've opened every chest once, and dumped around 20 000 000 into the shrine. Only dupes I've received were from towers, where the game thinks it's giving me something I don't already have because I've leveled it up.
The crushing blow thing is absolutely a glitch, and plenty of default moves don't register. I desperatly hope it gets fixed (or they remove the character tower requirements) because that's definitely the thing that bugs me most about the game right now. Aside from not having maskless Skarlet and Sub-Zero, obv.
I also wish I could change the face buttons in the kombo list to 1,2,3,4.
The buttons on the Switch being flipped from the Xbox confuses me sometimes. But giving it the universal numbers that fighting fans know instead of face buttons make more sense to me.

Like of course if you're good you can do well with a lower tier character but that doesnt mean that other characters cant be better than them and that it's all user dependent.
Yeah Rangchu won with Panda but are we gonna ignore the history of other higher tier characters winning in T7 or any fighting game? Or pros that have dropped their "main" because it wasnt worth it and switched to another better character like with Honeybee?
That aside i also think T7 is way better balanced than MK11 will ever be so i dont even think the comparison is fair.
The lower tier characters in this game honestly make no sense to me.
Why the hell would you ever pick someone like Kotal or D'vorah over Sonya or Erron or Geras, all those characters have almost everything Kotal has but better and its not even a discussion.
Yeah people shouldn't be acting like a tier list is the be all end all but let's not act like it wouldnt be easier to succeed with a top character assuming you understand the game.

Congrats! Banged out a couple towers before work, taking those koins back to the Shrine when I get back home.
Been on vacation for over a week after I felt like I somehow managed to get worse before I left. I think its the perfect time to switch to Sub-Zero from Kotal Kahn. I think I'll try Thin Ice though. I'm Sure Dead of Winter is probably better but the lack of moves is kind of boring.
You pretty much stated what everything Max talked about. Every character is viable but lower tier ones just require more work and effort to win. Obviously, Dan is the best character in SF.
I've just made my team mediocre and seem to get plenty of defense battles. I don't usually win but its nice for getting augments at least instead of nothing and I do still get the occasional one.
Yea, was thinking I just make a bunch of losers for the augments at least. I'll see if I can find some good behaviors for the less used characters.
most of my team sucks but I've had a lot of surprise wins with Shao Kahn. He's like a surprise killer as long as its not against Noob or Sonya. I throw him at the end of my team.
I have a lot of trouble doing skarlet's blood splatter (Back forward 3) on demand as part of kombos. I don't have a problem with similar moves on other characters but for some reason I just mess it up all the time here. Its pretty important for her corner combos too so its a bit frustrating dropping them all the time.
Already tired of facing Scorpions online...like in every MK lol

Vicarious joygasm! I've dropped so many kombat beans into that shrine, I'm sure I'm getting close.
Speaking of, I love how they were like "okay, a new species of Outworlder. They're greedy, and have greed shrines. How can we make them unlike any other race in MK? Oh, more goddamn arms."
Maybe in the next game, we'll get a many-armed race with little bone arms that shoot out of their normal arms.
I seem to get all my defensive fights every day. PS4. Not sure why - my team's not that attractive. Kitana, Sonya, Noob. I think opening with Kitana might be my honeypot. I even get wins now and again. Got two out of five yesterday, believe it or not.
I rewatched MK Legacy last night. Really is a fantastic mini series, and I forgot there was supposed to be another season to finish the story. Hearing Scorpion yell GET OVER HERE in Japanese is beyond awesome, and season 2 is essentially porn for Bi Han lovers/Kuai Liang haters like my very own self. Really fun to see their spin on Liu Kang and Kung Lao, and Casper Van Dien as Johnny Cage is pure joy.
This one hard to get? I think I stumbled into it with an AI fight lol. Got Kitana maskless with a time vault maybe I should play the lottery.

You probably have a ton of items that prevent you from being attacked in the Krypt, they're useful in there because those spiders just constantly respawn and stand behind you for you to be done opening the chest.
