I can't believe how pathetic youtube is... Bowing down to the pressure from a handful of alt-right nazis. That is just so incredibly sad. They have never looked weaker.

When I want a challenge, I try out a new weapon in Monster Hunter. I don't say to myself "I'm gonna kill every woman I see in Assassin's Creed".

This is really not about free speech. Free speech involves respect and the concept of society. Expressing yourself by torturing NPC on a game for what they represent (in this came, a feminist woman) is not free speech. It's just being a fucking asshole who has got deep social problems in general or at least in regards of some groups of people.

This dude's response in a video game when seeing a woman be abrasive about her right to vote was to make multiple videos of himself killing her meticulously because "she annoyed him." He's fucked in the head. Stop defending him.
I am fully aware that we all have morbid facets to our personality, some darker than others. But there is a difference between privately doing something that is not illegal (like child porn) and openly promoting and glorifying ways to kill an NPC because she represents a progressive cause for women in that gaming world. This perpetuates the maligning, misrepresentation and hatred for the cause that seeks to equity for half the total population and is inherently misogynistic.
And corollary to that is the pervasive and persistent attitude as can be witnessed here:
"I dont mind protesters, but they should not inconvenience people or get people to think about their cause by being somewhat abrasive or loud"
The main fucked up thing to me about this situation is the context of RDR2. This is exactly what would have happend to this woman in the time period the game takes place in for speaking out of turn. Some people really feel like going back to that, as much as they make their ideological opponents the strawmen who are coming for them

There is an NPC in the game who is advocating for women's rights, and he made multiple videos of him killing her in elaborate ways with titles like "KILLING ANNOYING FEMINIST" etc. Dude is fucked up. A normal person who doesn't have resentful feelings towards women wouldn't do something like that.
Edit: Also, look at the screenshots of the comments for these videos posted in this thread. See the kinds of horrible people attracted to this kind of content and tell me that this guy isn't a piece of shit.

At this point the best course of action would be for R* to not program any NPC's representing real life civil and rights movements to get the shit canned out of them. If they allowed the Suffragist to get slapped than they also know people are going to do it. It's in the game naturally. It wasn't modded or anything.

A majority of people are not referring to this woman being able to be attacked. Rather his multiple videos targeting feminists for right wing goons to rally around and say "yeah take that feminists, i'd love to do a lot worse to em!"

I never defended the videos, just the assertions that his videos meant he supported real world violence. Maybe if people stop making the claim that doing fucked up things in video games means you want to do fucked up things in real life...
Even if the guy doesnt support real world violence, his mindset must be really skewed, since all he did since he lost his channel was claim SJWs were to blame and falsely equivocate shooting nazis to targeting a single female minority chanting about wanting the right tovote in multiple videos. The difference being that the first vid got a million views and a bunch of comments talking about how much people hate feminists and SJWs during a time where gaming is coming under a lot of scrutiny for its misogyny problem.

It's definitely not a stretch to say that he doesn't give a shit about real world violence against women. Someone who is against violence against women wouldn't do any of this shit.
Apart from the fact that the feminist movement was actually a reality in those years, that Npc represent a feminist woman that claims her right to vote. She could have been an alien creature that defined herself a feminist and it wouldn't change the point of the problem. You don't kill a Npc in this case, you're making fun of a movement that did so much to give women equal rights.
