It warms my heart to see The Wrath of Khan get mentioned several times.

The True Grit remake, Nocturnal Animals, Inception, Coherence, and About a Boy (Hugh Grant one) are some picks of mine.

The first two movies that come to mind when I think of perfect/flawless in execution. To me, of course.

Pirates of the Caribbean. It's too bad the rest didn't flesh out the series to something like a modern Indiana Jones. Still enjoy them but part 1 is perfect to me. Great characters, great theme, great villain great set locations etc. It's just a fun polished movie all around.

I know we're all about posting only the finest cinematic masterpieces on here but I'm going to say that Cool Runnings is a perfect movie. It's schamtlzy and not historically accurate but it's insanely entertaining and stands the test of time. I could watch it once a month.

Alien is pretty much perfect to me. The only blemish is that terrible full body shot of the Alien falling out into space right at the end but that's really just a costume/special effects issue.

Ive got an obscure one: Margin Call. Its a movie about Goldman Sachs an unnamed investment firm that survived the 2008 financial collapse. The financial mumbo-jumbo made my eyes glaze at times but just seeing the panic and desperation from each rung of the corporate ladder as they conduct several emergency meetings, going higher up the ladder to stave of the inevitable never gets old.
