Can I say, for the obscene amount of porn I've watched since like the 7th grade, I still like my porn pretty basic relatively speaking to some of the shit I seen out there.

Rubbish, your comment was not the reply to a group of adults directing a porn film they consider less toxic for their children, it was the reaction of someone who thought they were starring in it. Well things probably are a little different here in the UK. I watch American shows and films set in schools and it's like something from Lord of the Flies. The hierarchy here essentially incentivises academic achievement, and kids who can openly discuss sex and porn with their parents should have nothing to fear from classmates. That's very cool stuff.
Anybody who tried that in the UK would just sound silly. I suspect the cachet of having parents who aren't completely oblivious might improve their ability to get a serious girlfriend or boyfriend.

You're still making poor assumptions. First of all: there will not be underage kids attending the "viewing party." It would probably be technically illegal to show an adult film to minors, let alone broadcast it. Their attending children will be 18+, attending voluntarily. (That's not confirmed anywhere, just common sense.)
Second, they're creating something they would feel comfortable about their children viewing healthily — creating a wider discussion around the potentially dangerous conditioning of professional porn — which is a far cry from creating it to force their underage children to watch.

This makes me giggle a bit. If the kids are up for it and endorse their parents' efforts, why would that be a problem? They're not actually recruiting their sons to appear in the film, only showing them what they as parents know about the realities of sexual arousal.
