I agree that the school setting facilitates that and have enjoyed much of those moments, with the Cultural Festival Arc being a favorite of mine not just for the Gentle fight. But he still can have lighter stuff outside of that, Vigilantes does it pretty well, and I've just generally enjoyed the parts outside the school much more.

I don't understand how some of y'all are so sure Hero society will fall. I think it is a given something major will happen, but Hero society falling is not guaranteed.
I still think it's too soon. AM and/or Endeavor dies in one major event, Hero society falls in another villain event further down in the series.
Because it's not really a long process, once Shigaraki wakes up he said he'll destroy everything, him taking out the Pro Heroes already pretty much kills hero society and Shigaraki will probably turn his attention to UA right after and seeing how all he has to do is put his hand on the floor to destroy a whole city, I don't see UA surviving this
Him saying it and doing it is different though. The heroes have been actively trying to figure out his plan, and I'd be shocked if there's no countermeasures and the League runs roughshod over everything.
When you guys say the fall of Hero society, I'm picturing the apocalypse. No heroes, villains control everything, it's just fighting, death, and Shiggy controlling everything. I don't see that happening this soon. Maybe a couple of people will die, maybe the heroes really will disappear. Hell, maybe even U.A. gets destroyed but I don't see Hero society itself falling at this point in time.
Of course I could be wrong, but I'm thinking it'll just be the start of the fall, not the actual death blow itself
I don't really see it that way, the Liberation Army already had their plans for a new Society, Geten said it would be one where ones status would be tied to the power of one's Quirk, they PLF also have ties to the Media and Politics so it wouldn't be hard for to trick regular citizens into believing them
Tricking the people and still operating from the shadows somewhat is something I can see happening a lot easier than them destroying Hero society outright
A western-set My Hero America (whether current day or prequel about All Might) seems inevitable.

I'd looooooooooove it if we got out of the highschool setting. It feels like... you know, I was going to say like a crutch, but it goes beyond that. Like it's a limitation. So many series are like "yeah this whole cast looks and acts like adults and gets into adult drama but actually they're all in middle school" or whatever, like it's obligatory that they're all under 18. Maybe they don't have that long a timeskip, but just having them out in the world away from the classroom would be cool. as hell.
I always liked My Hero Resistance if the LoV wins in March. If it's just Deku as a hero and society is more or less intact... probably something with an A? My Hero Ascension?

I read those tweets are like 1 AM or something. Hoped I'd wake up to them getting debunked or whatever... Fuck. I mean, uhh, I'd be happy if the series lasted a long time if Horikoshi can keep up the quality, but I am absolutely not happy about the 10 movies thing if it turns out to be true. Season 3 and 4 were already disappointing enough for me, I'd hate to see future arcs keep getting affected by movie productions.

Oh sweet, time for TodoMomo: The Movie. An hour and a half of pro heroes Shoto and Creati working together and ending with their wedding and a flash forward to their life with children. Amazing. The 10 movies have been redeemed now. They can continue to exist.

Same here. I can't think of a previous example were part of the title of a WSJ manga was dropped due to plot development reasons. The "Academia" is here to stay, even if they stop attending school. I would only expect to have it removed once the series ends, and a sequel series is announced ala Boruto.
