Possible spoiler discussion.
This makes a ton of sense considering Hori's talk of doing something he wanted to keep for the ending of the series. What's really strange is that the manga doesn't seem to reference it or tease it at all, considering Rising seems to be 100% canon and takes place between the MLA arc and the latest internship.
Well their last fight was Deadpool vs The Mask who they even described as a Cartoon God, and I would also say Darkseid vs Thanos, and Superman vs Goku are even more one-sided fights
they even had Wonder Woman lose to Rogue, and Garaa lose to Toph which both should have been a massacre on the other direction

Their explanation was that Rogue would just absorb WW powers the second she gets punched in the face, it's beyond stupid

I'm not a Superman fan, hell you can even say I don't like the whole concept of the character... but I think he beats Goku. Look at most of Goku's fights. Dude either loses or doesn't win by himself most of the time and Superman is broken in everything but the live action movies (and even then...).

I will never understand why Japanese fanbase lets All Might be 13th, and Mirio 25th. At least Shoji is way higher there than he would with the western fanbase so at least they some taste.
Also Jirou is very close to top 10 after a year of her arc, I expect she to be top 10 next year if they do the class 1a presentation well.

Pretty boring chapter, I mean its part of the story but pretty unremarkable. Aizawa crying was a highlight, and the High End Nomus being more humanoid is pretty damn interesting to think of as a concept. I just hope Hori isn't going where i think he is going, redeeming High Ends and turning em into heroes or something.
well not all of them. High-End was obviously a pretty violent dude before he got nomufied, so it wouldn't make sense to redeem him. The fact is though that all Nomus were once people, and if possible, they ought to be a given a chance.
Like if best Jeanist were to turn up a Nomu, it obviously wouldn't be right for the heroes to just murk him without considering other options.
Oh my god, if Best Jeanist IS dead and they bring him back as a Nomu and then they decide to bring him back or something that would be insane. Doubly so because that would mean Hawks DOES have blood on his hands, imagine that clusterfuck of emotions and blame being thrown around. Would also make tons of sense with the Bakugo Hero Name subplot, he'll probably confront the Jeanist Nomu shouting his Hero Name to snap it out of the League's control.

Dabi as Touya's Nomu is back on the menu at tbe very least thanks to this revelation.

I came to complain about Bakugou winning the polls again but then I remember its aimed at kids and Sasuke won a ton of polls in Naruto as well and the recent election results left me with one feeling, disappointment.

As for the chapter,
it was a huge retcon about class A. I always thought it was odd that every single member was expelled. Kinda lame but nice too in a way. I feel nothing about Kurogiri personally but it was nice seeing an emotional Aizawa with even Present Mic being speechless about the situation.
We get introduced to Aizawa by being told that by All Might that he is known for expelling an entire class the previous year and about 150 previous students in total.
We now know that while he technically did expel them, that they were allowed right back into the UA apparently immediately since they're in 2-A and haven't missed a year. Whenever they're in the hero program or in general studies, we don't know yet.
Like I said, I'm not sure if that's a retcon or not, but it does lessen the blow of Aizawa being the kind of person to expel potential heroes after only knowing them for one day. Also when he threatened to expel all of 1-A after the Bakugo incident is kinda lessened since we know they wouldn't have actually left UA most likely, though they might have been moved to general studies, which seems not great if Shinso is anything to go off of. I don't think this is a bad thing though, it just plays into his "he's actually a softie" character that we've known for a while.

I dont think they move classes. I think Aizawa is using a shock tactic to get the students to work harder. He expels them so they think they failed, and he wants them to think 'I'll overcome this, work harder and become a hero regardless of the expulsion' and then re-enrolls them in the class. He is trying to motivate them In his own way lol
they are actually getting expelled by him but he also has the power to re-enroll them back in the same class.
